Arts & Crafts

Xander has brought forward the idea of holding "The 3 qualities of colour classes" - He states that he'll start with the basics and then move to the fun stuff ... this should be up and running soon so check back for updates

Also in about 2 weeks time there will be Embroidery Classes starting in this forum thanks to the kindness of Yvonne Thomas

I have also been told that Arts & Crafts will be holding another one of their famous Paint Contests soon

In approximately one week the Pagan Family will be starting a "household Hints" section ranging from how to clean closest to how to clean carpets ... if you need any hints, tips or tricks then pop down and take a peek

The Green Room

Tired of having to work out what to cook for dinner ? Out of ideas ? Well we have good news ... Within the next week The Green Room will be hosting a section known as the "What's For Dinner Thread" containing many useful hints and ideas for you everyday meal

Music

We all love music and we all have favorite albums/songs. Why not write a story about them. Using your favorite Album titles and/or songs, write a story in 100 words or less. The titles must be used in the story to be a valid entry. The entry should have 5 or more albums/song titles used. Highlight them so that the Judges will be able to recognize them.


Divination

Right now, nothing new. However there are ongoing threads about all of the runes, and there's lots of good info in the existing threads. In the last month, Silver Venus has posted quite a few threads about different types of divination, like trees, water, sky....... Freyja be adding a new one in the next few days when she decides which....

And remember that they are always willing to read dreams! Don't Forget that Rick is our resident rune expert, he knows everything!

The deadline for entries for the Music Forum contest is fast apporaching. All entries must be posted by Saturday, June 15.

Remember, the entry must be no more than 100 words, and at least 5 song titles/albums must be found in the entry itself.

Mol and I will pick a winner from those submitted and that person's post will be featured in the upcoming newsletter. :cool:

Attention all you arts peoples out there.

After some talking with the Lovely Moderators of Arts and Crafts and our Gracious Site Goddess, we have an announcement:

Mysticwicks has a New arts contest:The Egyptian Tribute (http://www.mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?postid=295825#post295825)

The contest will be on an egyptian theme obviously. Anything to do with egypt is acceptable.

Each contestant may submit a maximum of two pieces.

Pieces may be handcrafted or using the computer (however as with the last contest we must limit computer use to MsPaint as some users have more developed programmes giving them an unfair advantage)

The deadline for submissions will be the 4th September 2002. The winner of the contest will be announced on the 6th september 2002. Judges will be myself and Melysande (another judge may be added).
