It's odd how much of our weekly routine aligns with deities and planets assigned to the days of the week. Friday, from Frige, is a favorite day for love or spending the evening with loved ones. Saturday, from Saturn, is the party day or weekly Saturnalia. Sunday, from Latin Solis, is a traditional day for harmony, restraint, and general thoughtfulness. Monday, from Old English Monandaeg "Day of the Moon", is regarded by many people as a downer or moody day. Tuesday, from Tyr, is a day for workplace battles and confrontations. Wednesday, from Wodin, I don't see an immediate connection to "hump day" hmm. Thursday, from Thor, a day for thunderous activity.
