Interesting... did he say what attributes he sees in the "dark moon"? Does he consider that a dark (or negative) aspect, or does he see it as a new beginning, a blank slate?
My friend sent me a chart via email awhile back where you could check to see what phase the moon was in when you were born. Of the three of us that checked I think we were all born in different moon phases, but we're all witches. I'll have to hunt up that chart again and check it with my group (coven mates).
AH... I found the chart. According to this you were born when the moon was about 3/4 full. http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/vphase-post.sh
I was born Nov. 22, 1950, the moon was Full.
edit... but maybe he means something different by "a dark moon."

Oh, cool chart...the moon was totally dark when I was born, and totally full for my mate's birth.

Having googled Henri Pierre (http://www.lucknet.com/), I don't think his free email interpretations should be taken all that seriously.
The "dark of the Moon", as far as I'm aware, refers to the period of the New Moon. You were born with the Moon in early Virgo, trine the Sun in early Capricorn. That's a good placement and there's nothing "dark" about it. It's also nowhere near to New Moon.
IMO, there is no specific chart indications for witches. After all, there are many many types of witchcraft - Traditional, Pagan, Faerie, Green, Hedge, Wiccan etc. Every witch is different.

I'm a full moon witch.
I often find witchs to have powerful 8th (or maybe 2nd) Houses, or Scorpio/Pluto connections. I have NN/Venus/Ceres conjunct in Capricorn in the 8th - Mother Superior Witch! Cackle.

Hi ValD!

I agree, though "on the other hand" (as we Neptune in Libra folk say when asked about religious practices....) I think horoscopes show so much about our spiritual sides and what type of relationship with the Divine we are prone to, or not. My friend who has angels visit her, speak to her, and she sees them, has nothing in the upper hemisphere except Pluto conjunct Uranus in Virgo in the middle of her 9th House. This is opposite her close Saturn, Mercury, Mars and Chiron conjunction in Pisces in the 3rd. She is a Pisces Sun, and Neptune is on her 12th House cusp, sextiled the Pluto/Uranus, trined the Pisces stellium. THAT is the chart of someone who has angels literally manifesting. All 9th House/3rd House, Virgo above, Pisces below.
People into Earth magic, as distinct from Angelic Lightworkers from On- High, often have strong 2nd Houses, a deep connection to Mama Gaia and as I mentioned in the previous post, powerful 8th Houses are very mystical, almost by definiton. Neptune in 6th House folk often live to serve like Mother Teresa (though I do not know her chart). Chiron in 6th House folks live to heal.
So though it is "mundane" the 6th House can point to spiritually committed people too. The whole 6th/12th axis is more psychological but also spiritual. 4th, 8th 12th Water Houses indicate sensitive psychic souls.... Uranus in the 11th, is quazar....futurist...

Yes again, you are so right. And astrology is a great way to see those "differences"!
