 Welcome gypsiefire!
It's always good to welcome a new person, even when I get to do it twice! :D
There is always room on the porch for new folks, it's a magic porch, ya know ;) And the goodies are just as magical as the porch. The friendship goes well beyond magic and often astounds and amazes people!

Anyhow, you'd be surprised (or maybe not surprised) how easily most everyone seems to get along. I often watch the interactions with wonder. How great!

Merry meet and welcome! :sunny:
I dated an Aussie guy once, Its definitely the accent that is so sexy! :D
Elaine
April 24th, 2001, 02:48 AM
It's the accent plus the fact that you can really tell that he cares about the animals.....he's not just doing it for the cash or fame....he's sincere!! you and I should talk, Shy Hawk.....that is my all time favorite show....I never miss it either! No matter what kind of mood I'm in, he makes me laugh!! :) I've never noticed the butt though...gonna have to check that one out, Wildchild! :D I have a Steve Erwin bobble head doll, a Crocodile Hunter t-shirt and the Crocodile Hunter DVD!!! (the bobble head doll talks!!!) My husband and I work in radio and I'm working on trying to get him to come to the station.....(actually I'm working on my husband to get him to come to the station...my husband is the producer of the morning show!!) wouldn't that be wonderful!!!:D ;) :) :p I told you not to get me started on this subject!!! have you ever seen the ones where he's around regular animals....Terri is always holding and petting it and stuff and he's always a good distance away with a petrified look on his face!!! I love that look...it's so cute!! :) but with a big scary crocodile or poisonous snake he's completely comfortable.....:p oh well, I'm gonna shut up now....just let it be known this long posting is not my fault!! I warned you:D
Shy Hawk
April 24th, 2001, 06:21 AM
We should talk, you are living near me, you're from Cleveland eh?
I never noticed his butt either, I'm not a butt person myself though...
I really notice his genuine love for the animals. You know, he said that the only animal that really gives him the willies is the parrot. Interesting huh?
Hey, if you ever get him to come on your show tell me. I would drive up there through rain and sleet! :D
Anyhow, love and trust,
Shy Hawk

I'm new as well and currently study to become a solitary witch, so I guess it's too early for me to put a spell on Russell Crowe so I wouldn't mind you giving me a hand(JUST KIDDING!!).I hope you feel as welcome as I felt yesterday when I entered the community for the first time.
Blessings,

Okay, you got me Bluecat! :D ...after I make this statement I promise I wont mention butts or mullets or crocodile hunters ever again. let's see...I'm partial to many but:
I'd have to say, for myself, in terms of men the list would have to be Steve Erwin, SCOTT COHEN (one of my favorites), Jeff Corwin, Roberto Benini, Gabriel Byrne, Willam Dafoe, William Macy, Kip Pardue, Paul Mercurio, and Dave Matthews. There may be others.
In terms of women, there's Angelina Jolie (I don't think there's any reason needed), Madonna, Isabella Rosselini, Miranda Richardson, Wynona Ryder, Bjork, Christina Ricci, Little Nell, Bettie Page, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, and Marylin Monroe.
Now, I shall leave it alone.
In love and trust,
Shy Hawk

Since everyone is giving their lists, I feel I must as well!! (I feel left out) :) I am more into long hair on guys...once I see the long hair, then I look at the rest of them.......my list of men I'm currently in love with are Heath Ledger (also a WONDERFUL butt!!), Jeff Hardy (of the Hardy Boyz in WWF....he has the best butt of anyone I've ever seen....also has an accent....it's not the sexy australian one of our beloved crocman...but still very sexy)....Jonathon Davis (of the band Korn...) and last but certainly not least...Jim Morrison of the Doors!!! (dead or not, he was just F.I.N.E.!!!!!) :) women- Bernadette Peters, Julia Styles, Christina Ricci, and Amy Dumas (aka Lita in the WWF....I'm not a big WWF fan, but she is part of the Hardy Boyz team...and the Hardyz are what keep me awake when I'm working overnight.......one look at Jeff Hardy and I'm daydreaming for hours!!!) Ok....I'm done now...I will not talk any more about butts or long hair or sexy accents....anyways...we've already decided that it's Shy Hawks fault!!! :D WHAT WERE YOU THINKING SHY HAWK.....NAUGHTY SHY HAWK:bad: HEHE....Just kidding Shy Hawk....we love you:p
Shy Hawk
April 25th, 2001, 10:25 PM
I agree about the long hair thing (my achilles heel).
But, anyhow....sorry, I'll never mention it again. lol :D :D :D :D :D :D ;) :p
