I was reading recently and stumbled across a "caste system" whereas each of us would fall into a certain catagory, now would this be where knowing yourself comes in and a matter of your "true nature" or do you feel it is mind over self i.e. be what you want not neccesarily what you are.

I am interested in knowing your thoughts.

My thought is that that list is extremely oversimplified. Considering almost no one fits in just one of those categories at any given time..
Also "Most religions ban magic as evil and have severe penalties, either now, in the eternal, or both for practitioners of any form of magic." Sorry? Uh Christian Religions don't encourage magic, but how many dozens or even hundreds of non Christian based religions do?

I'd have to agree with Myst as I don't fit into any of those categories that I can see. I think the statement about religion is quite hilarious as, in my opinion, most religions do practice magick and just call it something else! Many Christians use the "promises" in the bible in very much the same way we cast spells or focus intent and energy.

Hmmm. I am just wondering where this person learned that information. I've never seen anything like other than in fiction and fairy tales. They clearly see these groupings as something that is set in stone. I say that because it seems like when he is putting forth what he believes to be opinion he clearly labels it so leaving the rest to act as fact.
Other than that, I am just baffled by they whole page. And, perhaps, a little bit offended?
