Sometimes life is funnier than anything we could make up. This morning the cat got out and brought in a chipmunk then dropped it. My two older boys were helping to catch the chipmunk so we could free it. Davon my eldest was goofing off playing the game boy on his elbows and knees when the chipmunk decided it was a mountain and ran up his butt! The chipmunk then realizing this was not a safe place ran up his body then used Davon's head as a springboard as he leaped at Demetri who was standing upright (a tree) Demetri sidestepped and the chipmunk sailed safely threw the air to run around the room some more. Davon put his blanket up the wall to the window allowing the poor critter a way up the wall and out the window.

Lesson learned from this....... funny is watching a chipmunk use your sons head as a springboard! :)

The looks on thier faces especially my sons when he realized where the chipmunk would have landed was worth a lifetime of laughter!

LMAO That sounds so funny!! That would have been great to see!

See, things like that don't really happen around here... I'm reminded of a time when my kitty brought in a ground squirrel, and my brothers and I yanked his mouth open and the little thing was running around all scared. One brother was holding the cat back and tossed him in the bathroom while my other brother and I were using a broom and a dustpan to shoo the thing outside. The MOMENT we got it out of the door... my dog ate it. :ugh:

My cat was so mad at us. I guess the way he saw it, we took it away from him and gave it to the dog... oh well, he got over it.

Poor thing! SS that was a very sad story. Did I know that dogs ate ground squirrels? :huh: I'm not a dog person. . .

Yvonne, if you had a film of it you could have put it on an animal show on tv..... What a riot...so fun to play with chipmunks.
Let us know the next time Chip or Dale come to visit...

Sadly we move into the city Thursday so this was probably the last chance for something like this to happen. I am sure however that life has plenty of other adventures waiting for us. :)
