I am interested in knowing how others celebrate this holiday.

All I know thus far is that I have to work on Litha. It sucks, but I need the money. Oh, and an old friend is getting married on that day. Other than that, I may just think about how it's summer and then light a candle and go to bed. I usually don't do anything interesting anymore for special holidays. :(

well, the 21st will be me and the Dragonfly's 5th anniversary of our handfasting. and the 25th will be our 14th wedding anniversary as well.
my plans for this Midsummer are to raise another stone in our garden. we recently aquired three 4.5 foot basalt columns to add to our stone circle, and i thought that would be a good day to set the first one.
although, the 22nd is a Saturday, so that might be better.

Well we celebrate starting at sundown the night before. Which will be my birthday! Yeah! So we will be celebrating that, and definately have a bonfire. Still working out the rest.

I have been planning on a working ritual, thought that it would be a good time for clarity and maybe a wisdom spell.

Well, the 21st is my New Year's Day, as well as my birthday, so that will be spent getting taken to lunch by coworkers and eating a going away dinner and cake and ice cream that night.
The 22nd is when I will be doing the going away part. A whole week spent with some of my favorite people.
Life is good. :D

I was invited to a multi-coven Midsummer celebration, although I still have to aquire permission from my parents. If I can't go, I'll just celebrate it myself the normal solitary way.

No idea what I'll be doing for Summer Solstice. Maybe I'll get up early and go swimming before everyone else hits the lake.

I usually rededicate my altar every year on Beltane. I didn't get to do that this year so I am going to do it on the solstice. I also have lots of prayers and mediations to do.
