Sad and hoping for a few answers ...

Hello all .... haven't been here for a little while, but I'm hoping there is someone out there who would still help me a little ... I could really use a reading. I would be more than happy to reciprocate if you'd like ...

Anyway here goes- I met a young woman recently under sort of strange circumstances (chat room, internet personals stuff). I usually don't meet people this way but this time it felt really right. Anyway I exchanged pics and emails with her for about a month and we talked on the phone a lot too.
Well we finally met last weekend and it was awful. She immediately shut me out and we never even really got to talk in private (two of her friends were there). Later I emailed her to ask if there was anything specific about me that she was so turned off by. She said she didn't know and couldn't explain it.

OK here's my problem- even though me and her are very different in a lot of ways, I know that something must have happened or else someone unseen is playing a horrible trick with my life ... if there is not hope for us, then I will have to get over her, but I need to know for sure that I shouldn't try to pursue her any longer .... Please do a reading for me if you have time .... I can give you specifics about our ages and birthdates if you wish- if it will help; I don't want to post them here in the open though.

here is some advice from experience

Give her time
do not be mislead by readings, they are easily fixed (not saying that anyone here would do it)

you dont need a reading, what you need is to give the situation over to the Goddess and let her deal with it,

obviously, this person is going through something and needs to think things out...

all you can do is pray that the goddess watches out for her...

If you persue her, you may push her away...

I speak this from expierece! I almost lost a very special friend..

my instincts tell me the same thing, but it is SO HARD ... but I guess you know that, too.

Waiting is hard, but for me, knowing that it is in the GOddess's hands is a cmofort to me,,, Whatever happens I know it is the will of the Goddess,

I totally agree with everything Xander said and I believe that if she doesn't think you are compatible then you need to drop it for her sake and yours.

However, I did pull a card to see if I could offer you something a little more reassuring.

I pulled the Five of Wands. This card represent endless hassles. It also represents competition.

I think that this card means that while you may believe that the cause of your parting is something trivial, it is probably not. I think that pursuing her would be a huge source of hassle, anger and disappointment in your life. It may be that there is another person involved that you are unaware of. However I think that whatever is going on is much bigger than you know or believe and it is best to move on. No matter what we learn from movies and television, true love should be easy and fun, especially at the beginning. If it's work and you have to keep your eyes wide open to keep everyone in check all of the time, it's not real. Take it from me, I have first hand experience with that.

You deserve someone who likes you for you no matter what and isn't going to get weird on you with no explanation.

Thanks for all your advice .... I certainly never thought it was something trivial- I know it couldn't be ... also sort of expected that her ex was back in her life, too - can sort of see the 5 of wands coming into play. Just wish I had some answers - hard to move on like this.

I agree too, you just have to try to keep your chin up and pull your way through all these, riding all the waves as they come.
There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, so while this is all blowing over maybe some self discovery work will bring you comfort with the goddess :)

Thanks for all your advice ... very good counsel, I think. Still hard not to think about her, though. I wish it was less painful. I guess I could still use a spread if anyone has the time- mostly to direct me to which energies around me I need to devote more time to and/or what is the best way to put this behind me.
