Dear Goddess,

I am afloat in a vast ocean of tears.
the currents rage and prey on my fears
all that Is dear to me is fadeing fast
how much longer will this storm last ?
People comfort me with thier smile
while destroying me all the while
how much longer shall I have to pay
for things I have done yesterday
Is there a lesson yet for me to learn
for my heart is heavy and burning
must I endore yet more pain and sorrow
before I see the happy tomorrow?
I am engulfed in a cloud of confusion
though my words fail me, I still have my vision
All I ask of you is to know your will
and in my heart and soul may it be instilled
and is happiness too great a gift for me?
or am I eternally destined to drift in this sea.
I ask for your mercy, and forgiveness,
and most of all shelter from the storm.
show me the err of my ways oh Goddess
so that I may be restored in your grace.
tis my plea and so mote it be!
