So, last night I went on a nature walk type thing. I don't really know how to explain it. It was at the state park, and people set up different thing. There was an old time trading post, people made buffalo chili (that was SO good!) and some a few people played old folk songs... and some other things. And you walked from place to place, and it ended up being like 2.5 miles or something like that. I did it with my sister, step sisters, and mom. Not only did we get lost (lots of different trails, and some of the candles were blown out so we turned the wrong way off the candle lit path for a while, but some really weird things happened.
About half way through it, I saw a ghost walk past us like nothing, but no one else saw it. I know it was there (my dear family thought I was hallucinating) but no one believed me, and it was really frustrating. Then I heard the gravel crunching like someone was walking beside me (this was when we got lost, so it wasn't someone outside my family) but my whole family was on the other side of me... And the last thing that happened was while we were in this clearing. There were candles lit all around (because it was like a gathering place kind of where they had people telling old stories and stuff) and I was laying on the grass (it was almost the end, and 2.5 miles of just up and down hills is tiring) and looking at the stars. I swear I saw what looked like people flying across the sky and stuff. Then there was a sudden gust of wind (the whole night had been perfectly calm) that lasted for like a second, and put out all of the candles. Not one was still lit.
The thing is, no one noticed the things I did, and everyone thought the wind was natural. I know there were lots of spirits there (those hills are haunted, but it was more than normal last night) and it is really unnerving that noone else believes me. My mom is a medium like me, and normally picks up on more than I do, not less. It is so scary to know that for once when I was with my mom she didn't notice the things I did. I don't know if the spirits only wanted me to know they were there or what, but it was really frightening... I left crying because I was so confused.
Anyways, now to the point. Have any of you ever been with someone who has been known to see spirits and such, and noticed something supernatural that they didn't? I have never had this happen, and I want to know your opinions. My mom has lived in a haunted house, and we have experienced similar paranormal things together. She has picked up on things I didn't before, but never the other way around... What do you think it means? I would love to hear your opinions.
