Cleaning new homes or apartments always begins with a thorough physical cleaning of the new living space for you or your family.

Many of us remember that our family members always cleaned a place before moving into them when we were growing up. Some of us even helped with the cleaning process. How many of us remember the processes or the whys ? Much of this information has been lost through the years. Everyone used certain products for certain effects. People used to open the windows and let fresh air in. There was a process to sweeping the floors, a process for washing the walls, doing the laundry also had a process as did mopping the floors and dusting.

Adding a cup of household ammonia to a three gallon bucket of wash water will materially assist in removing grease, as well as in removing most of the heavy thought forms and other emotional residue found in most previously occupied living quarters. In addition to cleaning the floors, the walls of the new residence should be washed clean. While we usually think of washing floors, many of us seem quite willing to cover dirty walls with a coat of paint. Thoroughly cleaning the walls will be as beneficial in cleaning the new living quarters as scrubbing the floors of their accumulated dirt and mental or emotional residue. If this residue is not removed, you will be forced to live with is so long as you occupy the quarters. It is always better to get rid of the residue before you move in.

As with anything else, there is a best way or a best practice to wash floors. Hospitals and commercial buildings have what is called a three-bucket system for washing these surfaces. In this system a wash bucket containing the cleaning solution is used, and followed by two rinse buckets. The mop or washing sponge is rinsed twice, once in each rinse bucket. As the rinse water in the first bucket becomes dirty, it is replaced. The second rinse bucket becomes the first rinse bucket, and the now clean water in the former first bucket becomes the second rinse bucket.

Because of using this 3 bucket system, considerably more dirt is actually removed from the surface being cleaned, than if a conventional one or 2 bucket mopping operation were being done. I highly recommend the 3 bucket method for a first washing of walls and floors in any new residence you may desire to live in. One through mopping or scrubbing will remove most of the dirt, instead of taking 3 or 5 separate moppings or scrubbings to do the task.

Ammonia vaporizes thought forms, causing them to dissipate and disappear into the universe. I always advise adding ammonia to the wash water when you wet or damp mop any floor or wall. The only exception is for those people who absolutely cannot stand to work with ammonia at all.
In that case, it is worthwhile to hire someone to clean the apartment or house with ammonia for you. I would suggest this is especially worthwhile the first time the living quarters are mopped or scrubbed clean.

Damp mopping on both furniture and rugs may be accomplished by using a dilute solution containing a cup of ammonia in about three gallons of wash water. Rapidly passing the damp sponge that has been rung out in this water, with no soap or other additive in the water, will keep the rug or upholstery from being stained with non-physical stains.

Once the new residence has been throughly physically cleaned, an incense such as dragon's blood can be burned to eliminate any of the negative vibrations that may still remain in the residence. This is the most potent and safe incense for removing any form of "bad vibes". Place about 1/8 a teaspoon on a hot charcoal and let it burn until it has given off all its smoke. Dragon's Blood has been said to act as a kind of astral knife, cutting out that which is not wanted. When this incense is burned, all of the doors and windows of the home should be opened. The doors may be opened only briefly, but the windows should be opened for the entire time that the dragon's blood incense is being burned. This is traditionally done to allow the negativity that the incense removes to leave the place. I also recommend this because of the odor of the incense may seem obnoxious to some people.

When the washing and cleaning by incensing has been done, the residence should be returned to a neutral state. At this point, a purifying and blessing feeling should be put into the home. This is best done by burning incense consisting of: One part Camphor, Two parts crushed Myrtle Leaves, Three parts Frankincense. This should be burned on charcoal. It places a more domestic and an only slightly spiritual vibration into any newly occupied place. The presence of this newer and higher vibration will often cause many of the remaining lesser negative vibrations remaining in the place to leave.

Burning this incense will leave a very warm and pleasant feeling , giving it a nice domestic vibration. This same incense may be used any time you give your home a thorough physical and spiritual cleansing.

Indigo Blue Floor Wash

This floor wash is useful for purifying and strengthening any newly occupied quarters. It will seal a home or apartment against the accumulation of serious negativity, by strengthening its non-physical fabric. A single mopping of the floor of the new residence should provide the necessary strengthening of the home for at least a year or two. It isn't necessary to do this mopping more than annually. Whenever this mopping is done, it must always follow a through physical and spiritual cleansing to obtain the best effect.

Add one or two Indigo Blue Balls, and one cup of household Ammonia to three gallons of clear water. This mixture should be used to mop lightly over the clean floors of the living space with a damp mop. Please note the floors must be physically cleaned first, since making the dirt stronger is not what you are trying to do. It is necessary that the home be thoroughly physically cleaned before using this floor wash.

Sealing Doors and Windows

Sealing the doors and windows of your living quarters is something that should be done when you first move into any new home or apartment. The sealing may be repeated at any time there after, as it has a beneficial result in the home. The prayer of sealing should be done forcefully, and spoken aloud. The intention of this prayer is to keep out dark and negative forces of all kinds. The prayer below is just a sample of a simple declamation and may be modified as desired by the person performing the ritual. In addition, any powder or oil desired may be used to assist the person performing this sealing. Make an equal armed cross, from top to bottom, left to right, while saying:

"By this sign is this entrance sealed!
This entrance is henceforth sealed against all undesirable and incognito entities,
against all of the hosts of darkness, against all of the negative intent, and against all
who would hurt or harm. In the name of the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe!"

Moving into Your New Quarters

Now that your home has been physically and spiritually cleaned, it is time to start moving in your things. First move in a small table. With you and those whom you will be living with gathered around the table, you should share a slice of bread between all of you. Once you have shared your first food in the new home together, you should pray that your time in the new quarters be one of happiness and joy. This being accomplished, your home is now ready for you to move in your furniture and other things. You may now fully occupy it as your new residence.

Using Cinnamon In The Home

One way to obtain a warm and homier atmosphere, is to put a calming and domestic vibration into the home. This may be easily accomplished by adding a teaspoon or two of cinnamon to a cup or two of boiling water. Let the water continue to boil in an uncovered pot, preferably an iron pot, adding more water when necessary. Allow the steaming cinnamon odor to permeate throughout the house. By adding more water when necessary to the vigorously boiling cinnamon water in the pot, you will soon have the cinnamon odor making its way all through your home.

Cinnamon adds a very calming and domestic odor, and a similar warm and friendly vibration, to any residence. Boiling cinnamon water just after the new moon, every month is particularly beneficial in keeping a warm and comfortable domestic feeling. It also maintains a general feeling of peace and calm in the home. This practice is recommended for homes with children as it is both protective and calming for them.

General Purpose House Cleaning

To clean out simple negative vibrations from a home, apartment, or other living space, buy a head of lettuce that is fairly firm and hard. Starting in your living quarters at the furthest point from the front door, roll the head of lettuce through the house, kicking it gently with your left foot. When a leaf breaks off, pick it up and put it in a trash bag. Kick the lettuce all through your house until you come to the front door. Then kick it out the door, or carry it with your left hand and put it into the garbage. This cleansing may be done as often as you believe you need to do it. It is rarely necessary to perform this cleansing more frequently than once a week even when one feels under serious psychic attack.

Once the major argument has passed, the whole house should be mopped with a mixture of 1/2 cup of ammonia and 1 teaspoon of sea salt or table salt in a bucket of mop water. This mixture with assist in the dissipation of the remaining negative thought forms.

The thoughts forms are loaded with negative emotional energy when we quarrel, and that energy is projected during the course of an argument. These thought forms can gain a life of their own and even cause further argument and strife. The projected emotional energy of the disharmony feeds them. This condition can only be resolved by cleaning the house of the accumulated negativity. This should be done before going to bed for the night following each argument.

Just as a house should be kept physically clean, it should be kept in a spiritually clean condition. A number of simple actions can be taken to encourage it to remain that way. If these rituals are incorporated in the regular cleaning schedule, the home will respond by being more tranquil for those who live there.

In order to get rid of unwanted emotional energy, add 1/4 cup ammonia and 1 teaspoon of sea salt to your regular washing or mopping water. When you do laundry, add 1 tablespoon of ammonia in either the wash or rinse water. ( Do not use Bleach in the same cycle)

Ammonia is good in the kitchen. A tablespoon of ammonia put down the drain will calm the kitchen and dissolve the grease in the drain as well. It will calm the kitchen as it softens the grease deposits on the oven walls.

The same procedure can be followed with the tub and sink drains in the bathroom. This daily procedure can quiet the entire house within a week or so.

Cleaning a place with a compound of creosote oil, ammonia, and sea salt will remove the most virulent and negative thought forms.

Floor Wash:
1 oz. creosote oil
1/4 cup household ammonia
1 teaspoon sea salt

Add these ingredient separately to 3 gallons of hot water. After you mop the floor to clean it, mop it again with this solution and do not rinse away.

Windows full of plants add a healthy growing vibration to a place.

Flowers can be used in several ways when you wish to avoid negative spiritual forces.

Carnations: have a healing vibration, but are also good to use as decoration.

Chrysanthemums: have a nutritive and mother vibration. They are good to have in the home when a new baby arrives. They are the best flowers for a nursery.

Gardenias: have a vibration which prompts harmony between people, especially in a partnership or martial situation. The flowers absorb vibrations of martial discord.

Lilies: are good for new beginnings when you are going to try something "one more time". Use the full size lily.

Roses: generally carry a vibration of love. They freely absorb a negative vibration and are good to have in the home for that purpose alone. The white rose is a symbol of purity and thus absorbs all that is impure. Roses have also been found to temper anger in a home.

Sweet pea: this little flower when potted and still alive, makes the atmosphere more congenial and social. Their presence promotes the formation of man-woman relationships.

Make a powder from crushed dried Poplar leaves. Blowing a pinch of the powder will do as much good as using any larger quantity to keep aggravating people away from your home.

I keep a Cherokee hunting arrow above my doorway and a blowgun with darts above my window. I think it's helped with keeping harmful things out.
