It's hard to find information on 'lesser deities' such as Frigg's handmaidens. I'm looking for a stone, or herb that is particularly healing in North European folklore to help attract the help of Eir while I work as well as a nice offering to place in my workspace dedicated to her before I begin my day's work.
I'm all for going with my gut for correspondence, however I'm also interested in hearing from those people out there who may actually already honor her, and their experiences.

Goddess Eir? A handmaiden? I thought Eir was one of Frigg's husbands... It seems she's usually listed as a female servant. I learn something new every day. (At least one source (http://www.curufea.com/games/western/5e/gods.php) lists Eir as a male god.)
It seems that there are at least 2 Eirs: one Asynjur and one servant.
One person (http://www.cauldronfarm.com/nine/jotunheim.html) wonders aloud whether or not the healing goddess Eir who takes care or healing in Asgard, is the same person as Frigga's servant Eir. Since the name is similar and the sources sparse, they feel there's no good way to tell.
The Asynjur is a medical doctor in the material I've read. According to Pantheon.org and Wikipedia, the only doctors in the area were females, thus it's easy to see how Eir should be a female too.
She is one of the goddesses on the mountain called Lyfia (...), and gives both physical and psychic means of healing; shamanic healing, especially
Other spellings found: Eyr, Eijr, Eira, Eijra, Eyra.
Someone speculated (http://mimir.web-log.nl/mimir/2004/12/prijst_eir.html) there might be a link to the herb Veronica Officinalis, because of its Dutch name 'Ereprijs', which is explained as 'Praise of Eir'.
Eir seems named as part of the Valkyrie as well as part of the Norns, though sources on this primarily repeat themselves. Here's a source that seems to list the original (as in untranslated) Prose Edda by Snorre Sturluson which mentions Eir as a Valkyrie / Norn (http://www.cybersamurai.net/Mythology/nordic_gods/LegendsSagas/Edda/ProseEdda/Icelandic/Nafnathulur.htm#naf9). Some sources also mention that she's named in Kennings, but the Skaldic kennings database at least doesn't know her.
Reading up on a translation of the poetry in which Eir is mentioned a maiden of Mengloth (http://www.cybersamurai.net/Mythology/nordic_gods/LegendsSagas/Edda/PoeticEdda/Fjolminnsmol.htm), there is talk of offering, but not which kind:
Svipdag spake:
55. "Now answer me, Fjolsvith, | the question I ask,
For now the truth would I know:
Aid bring they to all | who offerings give,
If need be found therefor?"
Fjolsvith spake:
56. "Soon aid they all | who offerings give
On the holy altars high;
And if danger they see | for the sons of men,
Then each from ill do they guard."

I study/work in Health Care. I focus my work from both a physical and energetic view and as such, I'd like to develop and relationship with Eir if she consents. However, it's been hard to find much more information than you've posted (I have actually been looking), which is why I'm asking for some personal experiences if anyone has any they'd feel comfortable sharing.
Thanks for the link, Xentor. :)

I've only ever asked for her help a few times, most of the time I tend to asked the ancestors if I need help, here's a web site with some lore info on her. http://www.wyrdwords.vispa.com/goddesses/eir/index.html

Thank you!
I have red that copper is a metal sacred to her, so I think I may start lighting a candle for her and but this little indian style copper 'money pendant' (it's like a copper pouch on a chain) and put some healing herbs in it. I may dedicate my next batch of medicinal herbs to her also.

I belong to a Yahoo group that is all about / dedicated to Frigga's 13 handmaidens, Eir being one of them. Though I haven't checked that mail in several months, I'm sure they would know more about it. Here is the link: Spindle N' Broom (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/spindleNbroom/)
Here are some more sites I found about Eir:
The Goddess Eir (http://www.thewhitewillow.com/gallery/Eir.html)
A Northern Tradition Herbal (http://www.cauldronfarm.com/herbal/herbal.html)
Beloved (http://www.hrafnar.org/goddesses/frigga.html)
I don't have any personal experience with her, but I do have a relationship with Frigga. Good luck!
