Apologies?

In your opinion, what card or combination of cards might imply the giving of apologies. Or of receiving them?

Cards I was considering in conjunction with this idea were the 2 of Wands, the 3 of Wands, and Strength. But I wonder if the Cups might be important to look at, since apologies often have to do with hurt emotions.

Its certainly an interesting question.

In my deck, I always percieve Temperance combined with an emotion card such as Death to mean Apologies. There are so many cards that, working together could show apology either received or given.

In my deck, because Swords do not correspond with the heart but with the brain and Intellect... I can sort of see how the three of wands might work... combined with a Swords card. That to me, depending on the card, would mean contextualizing the apology and using it in a rational way.
