View Full Version : An aura or something else...

I've been working on opening myself up to psychic experiences through meditation, etc.
So, when I got a letter summoning me to jury duty, I thought it would be a good time to see if it has been doing me any good to practice.
At first I was sort of disappointed because there was nothing there. Then, as the people began to be picked and walk up to the front of the courtroom, I watched each one. Nothing. Until this one lady got up and walked to her chair in the front.
She had a glow around her head and it went straight up for about 6 feet. At first I thought it was maybe a light from a window, but the windows in that courtroom were very narrow and up at the top of high, vaulted ceilings. Plus, no one else around her had any thing like it. This glow was very golden with an outline of pale yellow running into white. She actually glowed, well her head did! I kept watching her to see if maybe I just imagined it, and it stayed with her throughout the 2 hours that I was watching her. It fluctuated some, glowing brighter at times and then settling down. Does anyone know what this means? I have never seen anything like it before or since.

Okay, I will ASS-ume that this is something I must figure out for myself. LOL

Wow, that's interesting. I've never seen a glow like that, especially just around one person. I've only been able to see auras once. I was sitting in the garden center at WalMart waiting for them to assemble something, and as I watched the people lining up for the checkout I could see this wispy stuff floating along behind them. Some seemed weak and slow moving while some was much clearer or stronger and took up more space.
Sorry I didn't see this sooner, don't know why it didn't show up when I clicked on "new posts" but sometimes stuff doesn't.

That will happen! LOL
I have never seen anything like it either, it was intriguing, to say the least. It was mainly just around her head, too. I am very interested to know if it was an aura or some other type of energy. Thanks for the reply, though. Now I don't feel so alone. ;)

It's funny you should mention a gold/yellow/white glow, because that's the only kind of aura I've ever been able to see around people. The first time it was a woman who turned out to have just been told that day that her DIL was expecting her first grandchild. Another time it was around a woman who had just accepted a marriage proposal the day before. Once, the woman had just been told she was expecting. I imagine it is some sort of happy energy radiating from the person. I've never seen this phenomenon with a man, but I don't see any reason why not. It makes me think of a halo so much, so perhaps those considered holy and depicted with halos were in a state of (religious) ecstasy or contentment? Also, Moses is described as having so much light radiating from his face after having "seen" YHVH that he had to wear a veil so he wouldn't blind everyone else.
Another reason I think it's happy energy is one time when I was still basking in the afterglow of what we usually bask in the afterglow of I was at dinner with (witch) friends but my mind was elsewhere and one of them said "Hey-you're golden! Where are you?"

A brilliant idea, particularly since as a juror you have a duty to know all the evidence. As a lawyer I initially thought it might be a strange if not dangerous place to begin looking at spirit, but then the psychic in me took over and thought why NOT? It also helps you to be able to read the defendant/plaintiff/attorneys easier and would assist a truthful and fair verdict to be reached. If only more people were attuned to real world applications of spirituality, we'd be in a much safer global position.
At first I was sort of disappointed because there was nothing there. You were adjusting. Louise was surprised when she saw the moon's aura long before she saw anything else around people. Your subconscious would have been slow to open you up so that you weren't bewildered or confused by the huge variety of auras in a courtroom. As a lawyer myself and almost "condemned" to be on for most of my life - I switched on as a small child and had no ability to switch myself off again - I used to get confused and scared myself before I realised I could alter the "volume" of what I was seeing. By the time I got to my legal career I used it only sparingly, because of the highly charged negative energies...usually coming from the judge and police as much as from the defendant and his counsel. I got out of criminal law in the end because even at a low volume it drove me mad.
Then, as the people began to be picked and walk up to the front of the courtroom, I watched each one. Nothing. Until this one lady got up and walked to her chair in the front.
She had a glow around her head and it went straight up for about 6 feet. Interesting. This is what the ancient seers and prophets called a halo and it is what you see on paintings of angels and saints. This is a very rare thing to have seen and it suggests you really have seen a real-live angel in the courtroom come to Earth for some reason to live as a normal human being. They are supposedly "flooding" the world according to various new-age sources, although they are not as numerous as they claim - there are also a lot of highly evolved and experienced human spirits around and they can be mistaken for angels in a poor light because they act less on impulse (like early life humans) and more on principle and consideration of the options. I and Louise are ancient spirits and it is more like a curse than a blessing to be either angelic or anciently human like this. This woman - she wasn' t the defendant was she?! she would have been over here... - would have been there to guard the proceedings from any wrongdoing.
Reading the cards for her presence - or W H A T ? she was doing there...
W: Judgement
An appropriate card for the situation of a courtroom. I know you won't be able to give out any particulars about the case BUT I think that this case is more significant than normal and the time at which it is being held is also a situation of global judgement, but since the world hasn't yet turned from darkness to light, the angel is here to ensue justice is done and that you were allowed to see her should give you reassurance that she will be actively doing her best to ensure that the defendant is treated fairly and that his or her victims are taken into account in the sentencing if they are found guilty. Angels sit in judgement over us with God as their guide; He always ensures justice is done. If you have any issues with the case and the angel is approachable, she will probably be happy to assist in the way she feels is right.
H: Eight of Swords
You and everyone else feel trapped in this courtroom situation and there is probably a lot of pressure to see justice done improperly for political or social ends that you don't share. You feel trapped into thinking this person is guilty when they aren't - or even vice versa - so you need the protection of this holy woman and God Himself to watch over the case. You can't see others' auras yet - as I said a courtroom is not quite the right place to practice until you are confident about dealing with negative as well as positive energies - but the spirits have made sure that you know that an angel is watching over proceedings, so don't panic if you feel you are being rushed into some verdict that is not fair or just.
A: Knight of Swords
There is a certain element here, as I said, of the need for a speedy verdict, and the more I think about it and feel my way around the case, the person on trial is innocent but people want to find them guilty for more reasons than are immediately apparent. Without prejudicing the case in any way, I think you and this angel are there to keep the energies here from getting out of control - you because you can see spirit, the angel because this is her job. The judge, on the other hand, is not a good person; the crow's head on the fairy in this card is a menacing hood on the proceedings keeping people in the dark. In Britain when the judge sentenced someone to death, he put a black cap on his head. Similarly here, I think there is a sinister presence at work here but your subconscious has picked up the angelic energy also here which will ensure a fair trial.
T: The Magician
Again, a card of rushing energies and dangerous imbalances towards mental rather than spiritual energy. The cards are falling from his fingers in a random pattern and it seems as if this case might be prejudiced by random elements with different and dangerous agendas. It doesn't have to be directly to do with government for there to be a political element; again the angel would know this consciously and be doing her job to try and steer the case back into the realms of a just verdict rather than letting an unjust verdict stand. You have to use your powers of concentration and spiritual insight to make sure the case stays on track and the jury is not fed a line which is hard to justify.
?: The Priest
This is you, the rational and spiritual antidote to the belligerent Magician. You have a mask on - you are not immediately recognisable to others as someone who threatens them - and so you can work behind the scenes to prevent an innocent man or woman suffering false imprisonment. Serious, rational use of spirit is something the world rarely sees, and yet the religious believe that people bring their religious principles out of Church or the synagogue or mosque and use them in everyday life. So your spirituality here is being used alongside the angel to keep the scales of justice weighted in favour of the defendent and a just verdict. Make sure you pay attention to what your guides suggest in this case and that you keep yourself out of sight, because you are a hidden cog in the machine here - for good and not for the evil of injustice that still plagues our society even in the West.
Good luck and enjoy your jury service. It is an honour that the government here were trying to take away at various points, and I have had to suffer my (future) mother-in-law kvetching about how it's a waste of time and she could be getting on with her work...only to realise I might have found myself in front of a courtroom without a jury to help me avoid unjust imprisonment or much worse. That usually stops her dead now.

Thank you all for responding. You have helped so much.
Hedwigharfang- Thank you for taking the time that you have to help me. It has cleared up a lot of questions that I have had. The trial is over and the man was found guilty, but I was not chosen as juror. I wish I had been.

Very interesting. This is the first time I have ever seen anything more than a faint outline around someone, so it was quite shocking. Your post explains much. Thank you.

This is very illuminating, thank you. I was not actually chosen for jury duty, though. I was in the pool to be chosen from, LOL.
I did serve quite a few years ago on a murder trial, however.
I appreciate that you took the time to help me. This is all so new to me, I am still in awe of the astral world. There is so much out there to discover and understand, isn' there?

Oh, I forgot to mention that, no, this lady was not the accused. She was chosen to be on the jury.
