Well if you've been watching the news at all, you know Colorado is on fire.
It's not quite that dramatic, however, we do have a few fires here. All of them are in the mountains, thank goddess, there's been no prairie fires on the Eastern plains as of yet. *crosses fingers* Hopefully it will stay that way.
But it's dry, and windy, and what we really need is a couple of days of cool, still weather, along with some good rain.

Spare a thought for the people who've lost their homes, those who still don't know, and all the damage this fire is inflicting.
*smiles* As well as some good energy for the right weather.
Thanks all!

Living in the forest, I worry alot about fires. I will pray for the same protection I have been blessed with for you and yours and pray for those who have already been affected.

I've been praying for lots of rain for all parts. There are parts of MN that will shortly be suffering the same fate if we don't get some life-giving water. I also pray for healing for those who have been affected.

Mythrel, I was thinking about you the other day....*smiles*...you're a lot closer to the fire than I am, though I think it's moving away from you and towards me.
Everything okay down there??

I've been sending soaking rain thoughts ya'll way for a couple of days now. I don't watch the news but the same request for rain was on the Christian Witch site that I'm also a memeber of.
I'm still sending "Rainy" Blessings ya'll way!
You, Mythrel, and all the other Colorado residents stay safe!
Again, Rainy Blessings to you.

We're still not getting any rain....
I sat and watched my neighbor put sod in yesterday and thought how foolish...
I'm trying to conserve as much water as possible.
My 6 yo son gets nosebleeds fairly often but he's been getting at least one a day for over a week now.
Rain rain come our way....

Dawn.... Put pans of water in every room in your house. As the water evaporates it will add enough moisture to the air to cut down on the nosebleeds.

In Arizona we understand dry. I am so glad the rains came a bit for you guys. I know from talking to folks in Colorado Springs how smokey it has been.
This week they closed the road between Sedona and Flagstaff to help prevent more forest fires. Only residents are allowed in. We have one that just started in Nogalas, and is spreading into AZ and Mexico. People are starting to build fire breaks around their houses in the forests. Awful. I haven't seen any rain since December.
May it please the powers that be to move the rains to where we needed it and the dry to those who are flooding. Blessed Be.

I'm sending good wishes...
We just had our own fire recently here in Tucson because it's been so freakin 'dry, I don't think I've seen rain since December either... It too was up in the mountains, but it was soooooooo big they had to close down the highway, and for like, almost two weeks, it seems, the entire sky over the Tucson valley was covered in smoke... I've never seen the sun set over a smoky horizon before, it was odd....
Anyway, sending prayers for rain.

Just a note, AZ now has two fires going, one near Nogalas and the other near Show Low. They are spreading and getting big. Please, pray for rain for all the fires and prevent the explosive dry conditions of the forest.
May it still please the powers that be.. to move the rains to where we needed it and the dry to those who are flooding. Blessed Be.
