astrology seems so complicated

well Astrlogy can be simple, or it can also be very indepth

especially when you tie in the numerology and qabbalistic asociations and the tarot,

but dont let it intimidate you :)

**Smiles** Start with just the sun signs, and get familiar with them. Once you feel comfortable with them, start reading about the planets and their realms of influences. After you get familiar with that, you'll be able to build a matrix that will tell you what a planet means in a given sign.

From there, you can start getting into things like houses and aspects. . . and with each level, you add more depth and complexity to what you can infer from an astrological chart. But it's just like riding a bicycle--you can't ride the Tour de France when you're still on training wheels. :cool:

In Chryssi's thread, question about upcomming eclipses, we are takeing an exploratory journey through the solar sytem learning about each planet and its astrological as well as astronomical data, and even some info from other cultures...

I was thinking of mabey taking a trip through the zodiac once this mission is complete.

In short, yes. You can just skim off the top and learn sun signs but if you want to get adept at it yes it'll take time and learning just like anything else in Paganism and I think in general too :)
