Yesterday, I finally purified my bedroom after thinking about how for ages. Not only did it seem the remove the bad energy, but it also seemed to add alot of good energy. (I like to turn off the lights for this, because it makes the candle-light more defined.) First you gather your materials. You wil need: Water, salt, a candle (i like to use white or purple), Windchime(or a bell or gong), and a whistle. Then You light the candle and turn off the light. First, take the salt and sprinke it around the room chanting: Mother Goddess(or whoever you believe in i will say Mother Goddess throughout this just so i don't have to type everything) bless this room for i sprinkle salt throughout it representing the element of earth and thy love for all living things. Repeat that, only sprinkle water this time. In the chant replace salt with water and element of earth with element of water. Then, pick up the candle and carry it around the room saying Mother Goddess bless this room for i carry fire throughout it representing the element of fire and thy love for all living things. Then, put the candle down and spin slowly (so as not to get too dizzy) in cicles, moving around the room with your arms outstretched on either side of you. As you move chant: Mother Goddess bless this room for i spread my own air throughout it representing the element of air and thy love for all living things as well as my own energies. Then carry your bell-like item around, ringing it as you go to break up bad energies. For this and the next step you should chant however you feel is appropriate. Finally, blow your whistle all around the room to gather all the bad energy together directly in front of your door. Then, with the door open give the whistle a final blast to push it out of your door, and if you wish continue to "sheperd" the bad energy all the to your front door and outside. Lastly, you must accept the goddess's blessing thank her and if you wish ask her to bless yourself.
