I'm new in this community and in the wiccan path ,so I hope you understand that as a newbie I can make many mistakes . I am currently studying about the wiccan principles and Tarot interpretation but as a solitary student I find there are tons of books that are either irresponsible or commertial so I kindly ask you to recommend me a few good books I can rely on for a good start.Thanx and be blessed!

Welcome Mooseheart,

Have a seat in one of Kaylara's comfy couch/chair thingies and have a glass of lemonade.

Don't worry about being a newbie, being a newbie is a beginning, not a disease.

There are a few books that have some good basics, the Solitary Practicioner books by Scott Cunningham are pretty good. As far as Tarot there is the Pictoral Key to the Tarot, by Arthur Edward Waite and the Tarot Handbook by Angles Arrien.

Wow Kaylara, your post is bright and colourful! hehe

WELCOME Mooseheart!

One book I really like is "Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Millenium" by Vivianne Crowley.

I also like anything by Scott Cunningham who is an easy informative read.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, this is a wonderful community of varying experience and knowledge, and everyone is very friendly and helpful I've found! I think you'll like it here.

Bright Blessings
Lilu

"Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Millenium" by Vivianne Crowley.
This is an awsome book that I personally recommend. It gives a wonderful insight, and is not all about spells... It's about religion which is a change from most of the books out there.
I also have found that books by Raven Grimassi are pretty good.

Merry meet. As far as books concerning Wicca go, all I can say is... Scott Cunningham. The first books I read were Silver Ravenwolf's To Ride A Silver Broomstick and To Stir A Magick Cauldron, because that is what I was exposed to, but personally I wouldn't bother with them. Now Cunninghams books on the other hand are absolutely wonderful :) .

Sweetest of dreams always,
Maeve
