Make Up

I had the strangest dream, I can't remember all of it. But it's been buggin me all day so i wondered if someone could make sense of it Thanx _pounce_

I was at my house, when my best mate came round and we were chattin as normal.
I can't really remeber what about.
But all through it I kept rubbing my face with my hands like you do when you are tired.
then she asks me if I want to go out I agree and we get already. Dressed up and that.
She turns to me and gasps asking if I had looked in the mirror.
I look in my mirror and I have red and black make up all smudged down my face.
I don't know how or when it got there.
But I try to rub it all off and it won't budge. The harder I try the worse it seems to get.
So I'm left staring at my reflection which is covered all down my eyes and cheeks with this thick red and black make up.

Yeah i know odd.but hey that's just me all over really!

It sounds (to me) as though your subconscious is breaking through the mask you normally wear. Rubbing your face may have symbolized either your efforts to keep your true feelings under the mask or to take the mask off and reveal them; either way, the fact that they showed through when you attempted the ultimate cover-up (getting dressed up and putting on makeup) seems to say that you cannot deny them any longer. As for the specific colours, your personal interpretations of them will be the most accurate but for general reference, red usually indicates internal passion and black is normally associated with those things which we fear or attempt to hide from others & ourselves.
