OK this is kind of weird for me to ask. But i'm afraid its not going to happen. but my husband and i are kinda trying to have a child. And i went to a doctor and they said i have a hormone inbalance, and they want me to take two different meds that i can't take if i get pg. i don't have a month period. I was wondering if anyone knows either a more natural way i can help this along or anything at could help.....

Sounds like you need to go see a reproductive endocrinologist..

Can you see a Naturalpath/Homeopath? They may be able to help you in a natural way.

Is it PCOS? Did the doctor explain to you what could be the causes of the high testosterone? I have PCOS and slightly high testosterone also. I had to do a lot of research online, and if you do a search you'll find alot of info. I can't recommend anything because i don't know you, but you should try and get your doctor to explain more and look into possible causes in your case so you can find better treatment.

For e.g. some people only need to lose a little weight to rectify the imbalance, BUT that's them, and you could be different. So yeah it really depends on individual circumstances.

I agree with Avanti - it does sound like PCOS - which I have also. I've read studies that say up to 10% of American women have this condition to one extent or another. It can definitely be treated, and is absolutely not a sentence to infertility. I agree - go see a good reproductive endocrinologist (or even a sympathetic OB-GYN or family doctor can help). For me, a bit of weight loss helped, and one medication (which I am still taking while pregnant, and is perfectly safe) sorted things out within six months.

Check out www.soulcysters.net (http://www.soulcysters.net) - an online community and information resource for women with PCOS. I found it extremely helpful and very supportive.

:hugz: It's not as bad as it might seem right now - you can definitely get through this. It might take some effort and some research, and some doctor-shopping until you find one who will listen... but you can get through this. PM me if you ever need to talk.

In addition to your doctor, consider going to an asian doctor.. they are more holisitically inclined and can be very compatible to what you may need to do on the medical front..
great luck and blessings
