This is my personal booklist (http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dc6tgjnk_102fmp57bhd&hl=en) I have placed online. It contains a section for digital texts that I have downloaded and linked to their download locations on the net. So for those who are always looking for interesting Germanic history related stuff to read, I hope this to be a helpful resource on finding them. I can email texts to those who email me requests for something not online.

Seapearls

I know I am not a heathen - more eclectic. But that page had my heart going pitter patter. I love reading and ongoing learning and am an equal opportunity studier when it comes to paths and histories/legends of a people.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING. I put it in my favorites. _pounce_

PS. I didn't see Egil's Saga on the list. If you haven't read it you must. Seriously. I read it in my genres class in college. The professor could read, write and speak old English, Norse, old Gaelic and old French. You would have liked her.

Oops. I didn't dig to far into that area. I got side-tracked by ravenous munchkins (kiddies). Thanks for pointing that out to me. lol

You will like Egil's Saga. I actually liked it more than Beowulf. Though, I loved Beowulf. =)

Heh, I understand. I spend a lot of time on both sacred texts and OMCL copying the sagas into word documents and making PDF files out of them so I can read them anywhere.

I have heard good things about Egil's. I am anxious to read it.

Egil's Saga is the 1st saga in The Sagas of Icelanders (http://www.amazon.com/Sagas-Icelanders-Penguin-Classics-Deluxe/dp/0141000031/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-1042086-3121547?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1193591215&sr=8-2)in my list. I have read it and agree it is a very good saga. I'm glad you like the page.

Like is to tame a word. I got a chance to look around more on it and I should have thought of the Sagas of the Icelanders. It is an awesome resource. Just awesome.
