Have you ever been working on some sort of spell or meditation and had a sign show up so that you know it worked?

I lit a brown healing candle for my dog who lives with my parents. He's almost 12 and has gum disease as well as skin allergies. I often find myself talking to him as I believe he can hear me despite the distance between us (He was and still is my best friend).

The candle took three days to completely burn out, and by the time it was almost out, the wax dripped onto my table and in the middle of the solid wax is the perfect shape of a heart :) It made my night to hear from my baby :heyalove:

First time I ever tried my hand on healing, it worked, and the person I healed was upset because his pain was gone.

Proof that it works: when it works.

I don't always get 'signs' when a spell is working, or is going to work, or whatever. I have, however, had many, many spells that did work. When I do the spell, and the results show up, I know it worked, plain and simple. I've gotten signs that a spell wasn't going to work. A lot of my spells use jar candles and oil lamps. I've had a jar candle shatter shortly after being lit. Upon evaluation, the spell was one done on impulse with little thought, and it wasn't what I really needed at all.

I dunno. I've only done a few spells, and honestly..... I had forgotten I had done them until after I received what I did the spell for. Then it was like a light bulb going off that the spell worked. So I don't know, as I never paid attention, as I always forgot. LOL!

That's what I was going to say. Would you know it worked if, you know, what you wanted to happen happens?

here's one sign that i've recieved that a spell of mine has worked:

i had a small three by three piece of paper and drew a pentacle on it.
i lit a light blue candle (at my grandmothers to bring peace into the house.
because the house just made me feel bogged down with negative energy).
and when the candle had burned out i took the paper out fron underneath it
and between two of the legs was a cresent blue moon. =]
i knew it had worked.

I find that if a spell for me is going to work, it usually works fairly quickly. Often, I seem to "know" insticntally that this is going to work or that this is the right way to go. And, if something isn't going to work then it may have been the wrong spell, wrong time, or any number of reasons.

Some spells have worked for me but the best ones that work I found out are the ones you make yourself. I learned two lessons in how spells and Karma work the hard way. Long story short, I was young and upset that my crush had found someone and was engaged.

I got so mad that I created a spell to break them up, I know stupid. Any way I created it and put all the energy I could and it worked. With in 3 days they broke up because she had cheated on him and didn't care. That hurt him and in the end fell on me.

Ever since then I have been having relationship problems. What I think is ironic though is that I ended up dating my crush after highschool, still am, and are still having troubles but not as much as what it use to be.

Well it depends on the spell I have used. Where it concerns prosperity or money spells ... I know it has worked when I actually have money that I needed at the time I need it. I cannot recall having any signs pointing to it before hand though.

Also signs for me that a banishing spell has worked is when I feel more calm and do not feel like I am being strangled.

my spells dont, usually :(

It's probably not the spell that hasn't worked (sometimes they don't for good reason) but more often than not they do work (often in ways we don't expect or see at the time). Then again it could be you (without sounding nasty) :hugz: but are you sure the intent or correct intent is there? Are there are doughts in your mind about the spell not working? If so, you need to rid yourself of those doughts and just know the spell is going to work. Let the Universe do its job.... it won't let you down ;)

Good Luck!

I dunno, I haven't been much of a reader of signs or omens unless they come directly from my lady (the deity)...but more often like to settle things myself, thanking her when they do work even if I don't always ask her specifically.

So I know they work...when they work, that is, whenever the thing I asked for comes about.
Most of my spells work, and within a pretty decent time frame too.

There's only a few instances when I don't know, but assume they worked...knowing that spells normally take the path of least resistance -- and often by the point I don't know what to do and couldn't even guess what way that is, so...I usually just thank the powers that be anyway, if things turn out fairly well.
