I don't know what else to call it. *shrugs* Anyways, the point is I don't want to do a spell to get better grades or something like that, I just want a clarified focused mind. I feel really distracted and yet there isn't anything really out there to distract me, I don't know what it is, I just find it hard to focus and concentrate on doing some mental work. I used to be more focused but now I feel like.. as if I have been drinking lots of coffee, lol. So, I thought perhaps a spell or something could help me better?

I myself found this somewhere online (I do have my own spellbooks and stuff but nothing about help with studies..):

"Take into your possession a stone of small size that will suit you well and set it to the right of a yellow candle. Light the yellow candle and obtain a writing utensil and write this chant out as you read it aloud: (Hail Isis, Come forth to fill my mind with wisdom bright. To keep my mind alert and clear, with nothing to fear With this wisdom I ask, may my senses be keen. May my studies stay with and enlighten me for years to pass I make this the word. That goes forth and comes into being.) Fold the paper into a small clump and set it aflame in the light of the yellow candle. (Use something with long edges and hold the paper until it turns into ashes.) Gather the ashes and open a window. Take this ball of ash you now carry and let them fly in the air and say "Hail Isis!" Let the candle burn and charge the stone while you study. Keep the stone with you when you need to give papers, take exams or study. Douse out the candle just before sleep."

What do you think of that spell? I'm not entirely sure. Actually, I don't even know if I want it to be a spell to make me focus.. lol. I usually don't use spells to do well, I mostly want to try and survive on my own you know, to manage and handle my things without any interference of magick.
Maybe some herbal tea or something could help me too besides a spell? I dunno, any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Blessed Be.

I'll offer some mundane suggestions before magickal: Mint tea would help you perk up a bit - just don't add too much sugar. ;-) Also, exercise helps to stimulate and focus the brain (as well as get the wigglies out), so doing a couple of jumping-jacks, push-ups, or up-downs when you feel yourself starting to fade might help.

As for spells, that one sounds alright. You can, of course, change the deity to someone who fits your pantheon. Try modifying the spell components to feel really comfortable with it: if candle magick isn't your thing, switch to a scrying bowl or mirror (etc). If you feel out-of-sorts, you could try balancing your chakras or elements prior to your study session; or you could meditate to try to quiet the bees in your bonnet before pulling out the books.

If you really, really want to try a spell I suggest you create one for yourself (as it seems you normally do). Magick works best when you're completely confident in obtaining the results.

Best of luck!
