How funny that you put that here! One of my favorite shows was Isis! I remember clearly that whenever they wanted Isis to appear, they would rub the magic amulet pendant worn around the neck, say "Almighty Isis" and there she would be.

Well, I didn't have a magical amulet pendant, so I used my big mickey mouse pendant! :D

I also remember being dragged to 5pm Saturday mass (you must remember, I was still in my single digit years here) and would be bored out of my mind in church. When it got really bad, I would rub my mickey mouse pendant and whisper "Almighty Isis" hoping that she would appear and get me out of there!!! LOL :rotfl:

I guess I should've known then that this was the path I would end up on! :hearteyes

Also don't forget Wonder Woman of cartoon and tv...She also called upon the pagan powers that be.

Want a movie treat...get "Bell, Book and Candle" Absolutely my all time favorite....amazing movie in black and white. Kim Novak, Jimmy Stewart, Elsa Lancaster and Tony Randall. And yes they have it on video...Talk about calling on the gods.

Witchychick,
I was beginning to think I was the only one that remembered those cartoons! Guess they helped define my path in alot of ways as well.

Bell, Book and Candle! Haven't seen that in ages.....

"I Married A Witch" with Veronica Lake was cool too. The censors didn't like the scene that shows she spent the night at Friedrich March's place but then you know how we Witches can be...

Don't remember the 70's cartoon but I remember the Wonder Woman/Amazon thing. Wasn't she supposed to be THE Diana?

Just the other day my oldest rented a movie (can't think of the name now) and as I was passing through the room, they were doing the Wonder Woman (Diana) part....where Diana was explaining to her Mom why it so important to come to Earth and help the humans....Mom said no, she went anyway.....

Yeah, thanks for refreshing my memory!

I heard Smurfs was taken off the air because they were so Druidish.

Not sure about that one.

I'm sitting here thinking uh oh I wasn't even a twinkle in my mother's eye until '79!!
