Konnichi Wa to All:

This is to Announce that I have joinned a New Circle of Wiccan Learning called MagickaSchool.com.

I found the Information on MagickaSchool from MysticWicks.com and after reading over their Rules and Regulations, I found that they did not have any Rules about only allowing English in their Correspondence which could end up my getting Forbidden to use Japanese in my Posts.

So I joined them on June 3rd (the day after my Birthday) and registered on their Message Forums. I posted my Hajimemashite Greetings Thread and then sat back and watched what they do.

Over Several Weeks, they seemed to not mind my Posting in Jap every once in a while, which Pleased Me.

Then they issued a Deal for my getting a Life Membership for a Fairly Cheap Price, so I took it.

It was after that that I have posted copies of my Supreme Lifeform Manifesto Essay, my Rewriting of Genesis Essay, my Mother Theresa Speech On Acceptance Essay.

They seemed to like those Essays.

The thing is, they have Wiccan Theological Competitions, and they held a Competition on Rituals for Samhain. The Winner would Win a Copy of "The Book of the Law" by Aleister Crowley.

I entered the Ritual I did at Old Sarum Cathedral Ruins on June 24th 2007.

The Ritual I submitted went:

I am Entering a Ritual that I did at Old Sarum Castle Ruins on the Saturday After I attended the 2006 Summer Solstice Gathering at The Stonehenge.

After spending the Morning at the Summer Solstice Gathering at The Stonehenge, I went back to Avebury, where I had been Camped Out.

The National Trust, who looks after Avebury, have a policy that everyone has to be packed up and Vacated from the Car Park of Avebury by 4:00pm. So I got to work packing up to head to a place called Foxhangers in Devizes, a place that I had found on the Interrnet.

But when I told my plans to a Neighboring Wiccan Paganistic Camper, he and his Wife informed me that I would find it a lot more interesting to go to a place called Old Sarum Camping Park. They directed me to a certain Bus that just so happens to go to Salsbury, which passed by Old Sarum.

So I got on the Bus, and asked the Driver to drop me off where Old Sarum is. I then went about Old Sarum, taking a few Pictures and seeing a few Sites

After Hiking down from Old Sarum and registering with their Camping Park. I then went to the Harvester Restaurant, which is just across the Street from Old Sarum, and had a nice Steak Dinner.

Then, after spending the past 24 to 48 hours awake celebrating the Summer Solstice, I went back to the Camping Park and turned in to get caught up on my Sleep.

After Sleeping Myself Out from the Previous Days Summer Solstice Activities, I got up in Old Sarum's Camping Park. I cooked myself up some Breakfast (Old Sarum Camping Park's Office had the Most Delicious Beef Sausages on Sale!), I Geared Myself Up and went for a Tour of Old Sarum.

It was built in between 1066 and 1088 after William The Conqueror's Victory at the Battle of Hastings. It was an Old Neolithic Circle Fort/Town that is about as Old (if not Older) than The Stonehenge.

William The Conqueror had it Built Up into a Castle within a Inner Moat (Dug for the Castle) so that he could hold his First Court. At the First Court, all of England's Nobility, Landowners, and Clergy were bad to come come to Old Sarum to Swear Loyalty to William the Conqueror.

After Touring through the Inner Bailey of the Castle Complex, I then went around to Tour the Ruins of the Old Sarum Cathedral.

Here is the Cathedral Treasury Stronghold:

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/SarumCathTr1.jpg

Upon closely examining the Ruins of the Cathedral Treasure Room, I discovered that the Large Foundation Stones of the Treasure Room are Hard Sarcen Sandstone, which The Stonehenge is made from.

Having found the Hard Sarcen Sandstone in the Foundations of Old Sarums Cathedral and knowing how t Christians in the 11th Century did not have any hesitation on desecrating Pagan Holy Sites in order to Build their own Churches, they would not have thought nothing of taking already Refined Sarcen Rock from The Stonehenge and using them for their own purposes.

So after examining the Stones closely, and concluding that they are indeed Sarcen Rock, I decided that they must be Missing Pieces of The Stonehenge. After all, the Cathedral was hit by Lightening just 5 days after it was completed, heavily damaging it in 1135. I think the Lightening was caused by the POed Spirits of the Celtic Labours who worked sooooo hard on building The Stonehenge in order to show their Displeasure of the Monument they Laboured On sooooooo Hard being Torn Down and Broken Up!

So it was then that I decided to do a Ritual asking the Stones for Forgiveness for what we did to them.

Seeing as there was going to a Medieval Tournament the following Saturday, I decided to do the Ritual during their Festival.

So I got together a Pack filled with my Glastonbury bought Lavender Incense Sticks, my Canteen of Glasonbury Tor White Spring Water, a Red Candle, and Matches.

When I got to the Festival, I bought a Child's Wood Sword, deciding to make it the Athame for my Ritual. I decided to Consecrate it and then make it a gift to my 4 year old Nephew. I would Consecrate it by using it in my Ritual.

So after enjoying some of the Entertainment of the Medieval Festival, I went off to do my Ritual.

When I got there, I took out the 4 Sticks of Glastonbury Lavender Incense that I had brought with me, the Red Candle, and my Glastonbury Tor Holy White Spring Water.

First I put down the Eastern Incense Stick while mumbling aloud something like: "Welcome Watchtower of the East to my Ritual of Peace and Cleansing on these Sacred Stones".

I then placed down the Southern Incense Stick while mumbling: "Welcome Watchtower of the South to my Ritual of Peace and Cleansing on these Sacred Stones".

Then I placed down the Western Incense Stick while mumbling something like: "Welcome Watchtower of the West to my Ritual of Peace and Cleansing on these Sacred Stones".

And lastly, I placed down the Northerly Incense Stick while mumbling something like: "Welcome Watchtower of the South to my Ritual of Peace and Cleansing on these Sacred Stones".

Then I took out my Red Candle and Matches. I lit the Candle.

I took the Red Candle, and started at the Eastern Incense Stick, I lit it while mumbling something like: "Greetings Guardian of the Sacred Element of Air. I Empower you to bring Peace and Cleansing to this Ritual on these Sacred Stones".

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/EastStick.jpg

Then I lit the Southern Incense Stick while mumbling: "Greetings Guardian of the Sacred Element of Fire. I Empower you to bring Peace and Cleansing to this Ritual on these Sacred Stones".

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/SouthStick.jpg

I lit the Westerly Incense Stick while mumbling something like: "Greetings Guardian of the Sacred Element of Water. I Empower you to bring Peace and Cleansing to this Ritual on these Sacred Stones".

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/WestStick.jpg

Finally, I lit the Northerly Incense Stick while mumbling something like: "Greetings Guardian of the Sacred Element of Earth. I Empower you to bring Peace and Cleansing to this Ritual on these Sacred Stones".

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/NorthStick.jpg

After all the Incense was Lit, I dripped some Wax onto the Center of the Pillar and put my Candle down on it while saying something like: "This Sacred Circle is now Invoked for my Ritual of Cleansing, So Mote It Be".

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/Candle.jpg

I then got out my Canteen of Glastonbury Holy White Water, uncapped it, and then started Washing the Harm out of the Stones. I started at the Stone nearest to the Easternly Incense stick, and gave it Three Spashes of the Water, and with my Left Hand, would rub the Stones soothingly and softly while saying something like: "May the Karmanic Energies of the Harm that was done to you be Cleansed from you. I see you are Sacred, and I Honour you, and may you Forgive Mankind for our Transgressions against you", over and over again.

I proceeded to go to the Southerly Stone, washing it down 3 Times while Cleansing that Quarter of the Harmfull Karmanic Energies from it while asking it for Forgiveness.

I went around the Four Quarters Three Times, giving each Quarter Three Small Splashes, and then rubbing it down while constantly making my Chant of: "May the Harmfully Karmanic Energies within you be Cleansed away, and may you find Forgiveness for Mankind", over and over again.

Once I finished Opening the Quarters, I then sat down to enjoy the Candle and the Incense Burning.

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/SarcenRit1.jpg

http://www.cauldronliving.com/images/uploads/SarcenRit2.jpg

I then went around the Circle once with my New Wooden Athame. I started at the Eastern Incense Stick, and I waved my Wooden Athame around it in a Clockwise Direction Three Times while reciting something like: "May this Incense Smokey Bless and Consecrate my Wooden Athame, So Mote It Be".

A few People came down into the Treasure Room where I was Enjoying my Sacred Circle. They asked what I was doing, and that was when I pointed out to them that I was honouring the Sarcen Stones, which according to my theory may have been taken from the Stonehenge. Most of them seemed to understand what I was trying to do and wished me well with it.

After the Incense Burnt Out, I remained enjoying the Central Red Candle until it had Melted Down and was not long for going out by itself. I then took out my Wooden Athame and it used it to Extinquish the Red Candle while reciting: "Please Grant Mankind Happiness by your Forgiveness, and with No Harm To None, So Mote It Be".

I then gathered my belongings, put on my back pack and went off and rejoined the Medieval Tournament Festivities.

The End.

PS:
I should mention that they have Rules Governing Copywrite Regulations that they Strictly Enforce. I actually almost ended up Banned for some posts on Herbalism. But after a few emails back and forward, a solution was reached and instead of being Banned, I am now a Winner.

I recently got a PM from one of MagickaSchool's Moderators in which she Criticizes Me for making Posts only on my Threads and not contributing to Other Threads.

She also Criticizes Me for Posting in Japanese Too Much.

I replied that I agreed that I Post on my Own Threads Too Much. I then stated to her that I would Correct that Habit by going onto a Posting Blitz onto Other People's Threads on MysticWicks.com.

And I Posting on MW in as much Jap as I can.

So far, nobody has given me a Hard Time about Posting in Jap on MW.

:woot:

I think for around a week or so, I will do my Posting Blitz on MysticWicks.

MysticWicks.com no ue ni Takusan Nihongo Muryo ni Kakeru koto ga Dekimasu!!!

Awesome photos. I would love to visit that place.

You didn't say whether you picked up the incense sticks, the melted wax and the candle and took them with you with you left. I sure hope you did all that.

I just took a peek at magickaschool.com and it doesn't look like it has anything to do with mysticwicks, so posting more here isn't going to win you any points with the folks at that forum.

Bonzaii and bright blessings to you.

Konnichi Wa to All:

This is to inform you all that I just finished my First Course from MagickaSchool.com.

It is their 5 Month Beginners Tarot Course.

That Course was a Comprhensive Study Course on the Spiritual Aspects of the Major Arcana Cards. That Course does not give any Instruction on any other of the Cards.

Each Lesson also Teaches various Magic and Spirituality Works, and also Teaches about the Philosophies of Carl Jung.

I have now Registered for their Wicca Revealled Course, and their Advanced Tarot Course.

I am presently on Lesson #5 of the Herbalism Compleat Course. That is a Course that has 12 Lessons and the Exams are spaced One Month Apart, so that Course will take me a Whole Year to complete. Their Wicca Revealled Course is also 12 Lessons that take a Whole Year to Complete.

As part of my Studies in the Advance Tarot Course of MagickaSchool.com, I spent this evening writing a Research Project on the Light and Shadow Deck.

It goes:
--------------

Konnichi Wa to All (bowing politely):

This is my Tarot Card Deck Review that I have to Write for the Research Project as part of Lesson #1 of the Advanced Tarot Course.

I have decided to Write about the Very First Tarot Deck that I ever used. That is the Light and Shadow Deck:

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51G78NQH95L._SL500_AA240_.jpg

I orginally found this Tarot Deck in about April of 2002 amongst some Adandonned Possesions when I used to be an Apartment Building Manager. Some Tenant, who had been making Excuses about not being able to Pay the Rent. He eventually Bonked Out without any Notice leaving behind all of his Possesions.

When I gained entry to the Apartment Suite, I started packing his Possesions for Storage and when I was going through some Books and Papers, I came upon a Tarot Deck. It was the Light and Shadow Tarot Deck.

I took the Tarot Deck and Stored It Away in Safe Keeping as I felt that it was something that I could make use of someday.

Then in October 2004, as part of my Druidistic/Paganistic Training as an Ovate, I decided to start Studying Tarot. That is when I took out my Light and Shadow Deck and started Practising Reading Tarot with it.

So from Oct 2004 to June 2005, my Light and Shadow Deck was my Primary Deck. I used it many times for doing Readings and Memorization Draws.

But then, in June of 2005, I went out and bought a Rider/Waite Deck as a Self Birthday Present. After that, my Rider/Waite Deck has become my Primary Deck. I even took my Rider/Waite Deck to England to Bless and Consecrate on the Slaughter Stone of The Stonehenge.

I did use my Light and Shadow Deck a few more times after that, but I have not done a Reading with it for a few years now. But I still give it a Special Place on my Living Room Personal Altar, keeping it Spiritually Empowered for the day that may come that I will need it again. One of the other reasons I dont use my Light and Shadow Deck as much anymore as I found that the Large Cards are a bit unweldy and sometimes difficult to Shuffle, whereas it is more easier for me to Shuffle my Rider/Waite Deck.

The Light and Shadow Deck was First Published by Contrast Tarot in 1997. Only 120 Decks were made using Black and White Block Printing. The Deck is now produced by Destiny Book of Rochester Vermont.

Here is an example of what one of the Cards looks like:

http://www.tarocon.com/ls2.jpg

And here is what the backs of the Cards look like:

http://www.learntarot.com/lsback.gif

It was put together by Brian Williams and Illustrated by Michael Goepferd.

It has 78 Large Cards (4 1/4" X 5 1/2") and has all the Major and Minor Arcanas that most other Tarot Decks have, similarly to the Classic Rider/Waite Deck. The Court Cards have Kings, Queens, Princes and Princesses. This is different to most other Tarot Decks as the Court Cards usually have Knights and Pages instead of Princes and Princesses.

Some of the Cards are concidered as "R" Rated as they have Nudity in them, such as the Lovers Card:

http://www.illuminationtarot.com/Images/Cards/lightsh_6.jpg

The Cards are accompanied by a small but thorough Book that briefly introduces what Tarot is all about and then Chronicals the Meanings of Every Card. Most of the Meanings in the Book of the Light and Shadow Deck are similar to other Decks such as the Rider/Waite Deck, but there are a few Cards that have somewhat different Meanings to them. After getting my Rider/Waite Deck, I tended to use the Rider/Waite Meanings for Reading the Cards when I would occasionally use my Light and Shadow Deck. That was mainly because the Meanings of the Rider/Waite Deck seems to be more Comfortable to me and it is what I prefer using.

The Artwork tends to show African Figures and Gods a lot as well as the Traditional European Medieval Figures. The Light and Shadow Strength Card is an Excellen Example of the use of African Figures as it shows a Female African Warrior controlling the Mouth of an Male African Lion.
