WooHoo! We finally have some! My mom found a store by her place that sells them. She bought for us a kit so it has a good supply! I'm sooo happy now!! Mind you, I havent tried them yet so we'll see. I'm not even sure exactly how to use them yet. There's no pins or anything. Plastic/rubber pants (with velcro) with the cloth liners and then a sheer disposible liner for inside. Looks good though!

Hm, wonder if they are fitteds, prefolds, or flats. Here's a page describing types - http://diaperpages.com/cd_article.php
From there you can easily find how to fold/pin/use them through Googling the types.
I have about half a dozen fitteds, half a dozen monkeydoodlez AIO's, and have a dozen kushies AIO's myself, with about half a dozen liners and covers too. But we've been using them off and on - trying to avoid yeast infections and don't want to get diaper rash cream on them when he needs it.

That's an interesting site, thanks. I've bookmarked it. These are Bummies. Not sure which type they are. The pants have velco to hold them closed in front, elastic legs and back, one separate cloth liner that goes inside and one separate disposible liner that you can flush down the toilet... As far as I know and I'm pretty sure about this, pins arent needed at all.

Hm, was thinking it was maybe the kit I was looking at but it had a Snappi in it? http://www.parentingbynature.com/cloth-diaper-kit.htm
After I posted I realized the Kushies I have are actually pre-folds. Forgot. I haven't used them in a long time  And 2 of my covers are the Bummis ones, the other ones are Kushies.
Hm, I have flushable diaper liners but I avoid them, figuring they'd hold the urine against baby's bum? Since my guy is yeastie prone I am paranoid about that.

Which do you prefer? Kushies or Bummies?

I checked out that site and I'm not sure which kit we have. My mom didnt give us the box they came in. She took everything out and put them in a gift bag. Maybe I should phone her.....

Not the Kushies. I got them since they were easily found at Walmart. Most people love the Bummis.
A girl I talk to on another forum, Niamh, really helped me buy posting a bunch of info and her reviews at http://pregnant-niamh.livejournal.com/44132.html

When I was wee and with my brother my Mum used flats, with plastic pants outside when going out for long periods of time.
I'll probably use them myself with my wee ones.
Learned how to fold and pin them years ago anyways...
and they're easy to clean.

Yeah, I saw that very clearly when I spent $100 on disposables that would last about 47 days. In other words, not quite 7 weeks. Sure I've laid out a few hundred in cloth already, but they might last from when he was 7 months up until he's 2 years, and be re-used for the next. Certainly much longer then a few months :)
And that was mostly All-In-One's, I could do it a lot cheaper even with prefolds and covers.

Without backreading to see if they were mentioned or not, I strongly reccomend gDiapers.

I went and checked out the site, thanks. So I have the Bummis Whisper but they came with the flats (the very first pic). Do they just fit in the diaper or do I pin them? I dont have the box so I'm not sure. Anyone know?

According to this with the Bummis whisper wraps you don't need to use pins or snappis, though they recommend them for newborns with watery messes - http://www.parentingbynature.com/350-bummis-super-whisper-wrap.htm

And I read that they will ship gDiapers to Canada but the cost for shipping them here is more then the cost of the liners themselves.
Doesn't surprise me, when I used to order skin products from an American company the cost was at least doubled due to shipping, handling, customs, etc. And that was about 7 years ago, I bet it's even worse now.
