Herman the Hermit Crab changed his shell sometime in the night.

I've had him for almost a year. My hubby and sons got him for me cause I thought he was so cool cause you could actually see him....he wasn't all curled up in his shell. Little did I know at the time! OF COURSE THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO GET IN THEIR SHELL! Well he was the biggest hermit crab I'd ever seen....being as how I'd only seen 2 other than the ones in the pet shop. I had a hell of a time finding bigger shells to put in his aquarium. After giving him several to choose from, he still never changed. Then finally he did, but I didn't move the little one and the next night he was back in it and stayed there....for months and months....ya'll wouldn't believe how I worried over the little critter. Late last night I heard him rummaging around and didn't think much of it, this morning he was in the big shell.:T HAPPY DAY! I immediately removed the little shell!

BTW, the kids saw him change shells once when he kept changing from the small shell to the one hes in now. (He did that for a while and even then I didn't think to remove the small one:rolleyes: ) They said he's ughly when he's naked!:nyah:
