Anyone have any info about progressions or predictive astrology? I think according to my progressed chart, my Sun is either in Taurus or Gemini since I was born an Aries and am 22 yrs old. I'd love to predict when I will get married or have kids.

mhrtwll; the time for having children, which usually follows marriage, is when the transiting planet Neptune is either in a quadrant to your natal Ascendant or forms some major aspect to the birth Sun. (trine, square, opposition, or conjunction.
As far as predictive astrology using progressions, it has been my experience that using Tertiary progressions is the best method for predictive astrology. Although accurately calculating Tertiary progressions is somewhat complicated, yet if you have an ephemeris of the 20th century, they can be estimated with practical accuracy.
The approximation of calculating one's Tertiary progressons is to mark in your ephemeris 1 year for every return of the progressed Tertiary Moon to its natal placewhich happens about every 28 days. (actually the correct Tertiary progression rate is 27.32166 progressed days equals 1 civil year of life). Also, that the Tertiary progressed Moon is always within the same separation as it was at one's birth from the natal Sun as it is currently from the transiting Sun. In my case(and I will use this as an example) The birth Moon was in an approaching Quincunx from the birth Sun, therefore, wherever the transiting Sun happens to bem in the zodiac, the progressed Tertiary Moon is also the same (approximation) separation from the transiting Sun. As of today 6/25/02, the transiting Sun is approximately 4 deg Cancer ( tropical Zodiac), therefore the Tertiary moon is approximately 4 deg. Aquarius. Now, by counting the lunar returns in your ephemeris and ascibing a civil age to each them, the Tertiary positions can be estimtated if nothing more than through a basic math ratio.
Next, in order to accurately use Tertiary progressions as a predictive tool, determine where in the zodiac the Tertiary progressed Moon conjuncts the Tertiary progressed Sun. Then count a multiple of 40 degrees from that zodiacal point of conjunction, and notice which tertiary progressed planets and transits happen to be (within a few degrees) of this reckoning. The meaning of those planet(s) will be an annual predictive tool. This system has proven itself over and over again to be reliable.

I do appreciate your welcoming, although I will be off line for about 2 weeks because I plan to retire and move out of this state, (Calif). I did receive a message from mol about mystic wicks being off line for a while, thought I would come here and see what is happening. Blessings from the God of creation to all of you, and perhaps I will be dropping in a little more often after I get relocated with all of my furkids (cats) in Kansas.

Thanks for all your welcoming. I will be off line for a while until I get resettled in Kansas. It is suspected that I will be moving by the beginning week of the 16th of this month (July). I do not look forward to moving all of this accumulated stuff and hope that my cats will take kindly to a 1600 mile move. I can drive it in 2 days, resting in eastern New Mexico for one night. And when I get settled in, and get another internet provider, then will spend more time with all of you on the site. I purchased on older house, one big enough for all of my furkids. But want to do some interior painting and general fixing up. So it is not known how long it will be before I am back on line. Perhaps by the end of July. Until then.
