For me there is no mundane.
Everything is of the The God, The Goddess and The Four Elements.
I don't consider this pre-determination.
They've set us loose in this sometimes troublesome playground we call existence.
But I can sense the spiritual dimensions of an ice cream sandwich wrapper.
It is matter and/or energy,
we're made of the same stuff, even if we are a more complicated manifestation.
They decided to create everything and/or allow it to be created and exist. Therefore nothing is inconsequential. Not from my perspective at least.
It might be argued that even if this is true, there's still the principle of relativism. In other words for our purposes, it serves the greater good if the ice cream sandwich wrapper is considered inconsequential, since our very existence is constantly hanging in the balance, there are more pressing areas for us to realize our higher nature, than in contemplating how an ice cream sandwich wrapper fits into the manifestation of all reality.
I am aware of this.
But I also can't fool myself.
My deities are transcendent of everything , but also are everything. They do whatever the they want.
That ice cream sandwich wrapper is the result of billions of years of environmental and biological evolution that caused the the rise of the civilization that specialized and compartmentalize enough to allow for its manufacture. It is a relic and artifact, an indicator.
The wrapper is exactly where it is intended to be.

They are alternative healing techniques. There is absolutely NOTHING to do with religion or spirituality in any of those.

I think 'mundane' is the admission of the speaker to ignorance about the subject.
nothing is mundane...

yeah--pretty much. These can be done outside of a spiritual or religious realm.
On a PERSONAL note... all this is integrated within my life, but these things mentioned are done by people I know personally that have no religion or spirituality, to speak of anyway.
