View Full Version : I got to meet LdyStarlite- and she is a sweetheart!

Not that I was surprised, but she is such a nice person and I had so much fun hanging out with her. She came to my house for a party and brought her son, who is also very cool! I was very bummed because Laiste was going to come too, but had to work late (boo hiss to her boss :razz: :p). I think Starlite got some pictures, so hopefully she'll be able to post them. But I don't think anyone got one of us together!

I know Starlite has also met Yvonne and Laiste too. Anyone else meet up with other members after meeting here online?

Oh and I get to see her again at Ozz Fest!

Did you hear about the cops coming twice too?:eek:

We saw a bit of the video of the band playing and my friend taped the lady cop posing for pictures with my hubby after she gave him the warning. She actually turned back around and put her arm around him and smiled. It was hysterical! :lol:

Okay...so I may have forgotten about the cops. And let me just say that Chryssi & her hubby along with their friends are GREAT people! I had such a blast at her house.

I missed the 2nd time the cops showed. The first time, the band wasn't even finished with their 2nd song & they showed up.

Chryssi, you ever figure out who called them?

Nope we never figured out who called. A guy who lives on the street in front of us showed up. He lives behind my neighbor across the streets house, if that makes sense. He heard us and came over to listen LOL So while it wasn't him, I guess we were kinda loud. But it wasn't that late- 7pm ish. Like Starlite said, the first time was in the second song. The second time they had just finished up and were taking down some of the equipment. A guy cop who was not amused came down this time. The lady come from Call #1 apparently was right behind him in her own car and tried to get to us first. She even called to him that she would handle it, but I guess he didn't hear her or whatever. My friend saw her kinda throw her hands up when she couldn't get to us first LOL!

The cutest part, IMO, was when my son came out his red plastic rock guitar and pretended to play along with the band. Starlite got pictures of that, right? And my hubby's friend's son wants to book them for his 11th birthday party he he!

Any other juicy stuff...can't think of anything (I WOWed my hubby while he was singing...) Nope nothing at all...

Heh. But I didn't get pictures of that!!!! Hey, remember, I was even offered the digi cam to enter the contest. Should had another beer, maybe would have done it by then!!! :p
