Well, everything went really well and he handled his shots (4, because he also got the flu shot) like a champ.
However, because he's been sick twice in the last month he hasn't gained any weight. Infact, he's 2oz lighter than when they weighed him at the hospital last month (the first time he got sick).
So, he's currently 15lbs, 12 oz - 25%, down from 50% The nurse wants to see him in the new year to make sure he's gotten back on track.
He's also 27 inches, around what I guessed him at last month, but I didn't have an accurate measurement taken then.
My poor baby, I didn't realize how much being sick set him back. :(
here's some pics taken when he was sick and grumpy on his 6 month birthday.

Poor Cam :( He's such a doll though. And he looks so much like Quintin. Except poutier

Heh, yeah, he has a lot more fat that quint ever did....I'll have to find a picture of Quintin at 6 months and compare. Everyone (and I mean *everyone*) says that they look so alike, but my husband and I don't see it, haha. :)

It's all in the cheekies and chin and nose, at least in your avatar there. :)
Mine is currently sitting behind me chewing his high chair belt

Alright, just for the sake of derailing my own thread.... here's Quint at 6 months-ish. They do look quite alike, same smile, eye shape (different color), and Cam has a rounder head and pudgier cheeks. But otherwise, yeah you can tell they're brothers. :)

Oops. Sorry for kinda derailing. As to size, do you find baby clothing sizing is just silly? I just opened a pack of 12 month sleepers that I immediately had to put away as "too small", despite that my little monkey is quite small (18lb, less then 25th percentile for height and weight).
It will be interesting to see how Cam's face defines. With Quintin's smile in the avatar he looks just as cheeky as Cam.

Hehe, no worries, I don't mind contributing to derailments in my own thread. :)
It's interesting that 18lbs is considered less than 25% by your doctor....at our appointment today Cam was 15lbs and at 25%. Those charts are different all over.
I haven't had any trouble with larger sized items being too small...infact I put him in some 6-9 month sleepers and they're too big, but the 6 month ones are almost too small. There's no in between.

I'd guess the difference in percentiles is because Alexander's actually 9 months (well, in 3 days). He was 17lb at 6 months. It's interesting how much difference there is in what Dr's think is acceptable too.
Often he has to have size 6 pants for length and most of his onesies are at 12 months for size, despite how small he is. Must be the brand, I usually buy cheap wal-mart stuff :) And I think the old navy clothes I just bought him were marked 6-9 mths but they fit.

Anymore I just hope they have a chart showing weight & height along with "months"

Ah ha! Thats it then. I always mix you up with the other Rain who's baby is 3 days older than Cam not 3 months. LOL, sorry. Too many ladies with babies around here. :)
I was expecting Cam to be around 17lbs at this appointment...he probably would have been if he hadn't gotten sick.
He also needs larger tops than he does pants. Quintin was the same way...it was mostly a waist size issue...bigger pants woudl fall off of him. I wished they would have made belts for babies.

AWww! Lots of hugs to the little one!
He is a cutie! And look at those bright blue eyes!
OMG.. He is 6 months old and 15lbs? See... That's normal...
I don't know if to laugh or cry... But... Scarlet, who is 3 months old, she weighs...
11lbs...
Well, she did at her 2 month check up, I imagine she weighs more now..
I have such a giant baby... Oy!!

Well, for what it's worth, he should be 16 lbs, at least, by now except he didn't gain any weight this month being so sick. He was 12lbs at 2months and 13.5 lbs at 3 months old. So no, you do not have a gigantic baby. :)
