All I know is that according to like the history channel and all that stuff, she supposedly killed virgins and took baths in their blood because she thought it would make her look young forever.

i'm literally 3 minutes from OH...2nd into MI...we do all our shopping in Toledo! that is so ironic we live so close 2 one another!

Yeah, that is a rare occurance to randomly encounter someone online who is like 5-10 minutes from you when you live in a small town!

I think the closest person I ever randomly encountered online before was someone in Toledo, but that wasn't that surprising because Toledo is fairly big, but still weird to hear people talk about places around here. :hairraise

She did, as far as I can recall - the story is that she scratched one of her chambermaids and after rubbing a bit of the girl's blood onto her hand, she thought her skin looked younger. Though I also remember something about her liking the ladies...

If she wanted the victims to die then I guess it wouldn't have just been about the blood and maybe she was getting sadistic (possibly sexual, but not necessarily) gratification from it. There are people who torture and kill animals (and other people) for this very reason...
