There are eight basic and primary ways to perform magic, according to J & S Farrar, as the write in their Book The Witches Bible. I thought I would share and invite discussion.
These are as follows [IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER]
1] MEDITATION or Will of mind.
2] CHANTING, spell craft, Invocations.
3] Astral Projection or TRANCE.
4] DANCING
5] Insence, wine-anything to aid in the release of 'Spirit'
6]BLOOD and blood control via the cords.
7]The SCOURGE
8]The GREAT Rite
Combination of any or all of these magnifies the results.
To practice the Art successfully, you must have the following...
1] INTENTION- the absolute WILL to succeed. The firm belief that you shall succeed and pure determination to overcome ALL AND ANY obstacles.
2] PREPARATION- of mind, of body, and Spirit. Ensure a Sacred space is cleansed or properly prepped.
3] INVOCATION- ensure the correct deities are prepared for and invited. Have offerings of some form at hand.
4] CONSECRATION of the appropriate vessels and tools.
5] PURIFICATION of the participants, everything must be fit for the Gods so to speak.
