Anyone planning anything special? Or quite ordinary? Any exotic places to visit or just staying at home and getiing some rest?

Not going too far from home this year. Maybe.
So far, I've been to PA for a friends wedding & to meet Yvonne & Naillos. We've had 2 barbecues with my family already and one at Chryssi's house this past weekend.
The biggest event of my summer, so far, is coming up next week. When my family (Dad's side) will be in town for a reunion. My cousin's live scattered over the US (and even some in the UK). I have plans with everyone before the "big event" on Friday the 5th. Then on July 19th, I'm going to Ozzfest! :boing: Gonna meet up with Chryssi & her hubby there too.
HOPEFULLY, in August, I will be making a trek up to Wisconsin, but my friends and I are waiting to see if all the stupid clearences will be taken care of.

Well, so far, I have taken a trip all over New England and to Canada. I also went to Nashville.
Now I am starting summer classes and work on an assistanship. I'm working on my MA project and a book chapter. So the rest of my summer will be work work work. :D

Well, I'm in school (blah) up until mid-August. I don't think I'll do a summer semester again.
As for trips and stuff, I've already been to Seattle and I'm planning on going again (since I only likve about 3 or 4 hours away), I'm also going on a little road trip with some friends starting July 19th - 22nd.
I don't know about too much else, but I'm sure something else will come up.

Working on my art courses. Suppose I should get it started soon, eh?
Other than that, I'm not going anywhere special...maybe down to the mall or something. :p

Well...assuming that we will get another weekend of consistantly nice weather, John and I will probably go camping. We camped quite a bit last year, and loved it. I'd like to try to book a site at a differen't campground this year, though. Just to try something new. The place we went last year, isn't too far from our house, and there is a nice little lake there for swimming, or canoeing, but we don't have a canoe. So this year, we're going to try to hook up with some people who DO have one :) We also want to head out to the coast, which is only an hour or two away. But so far, we've only had one consistantly nice weekend, to do so. We go out to beavertail, here in RI, and sit on the rocks, and picnic. Or utilize the park to go kite flying.
We usually also make a few day trips down to narragansett, pt. Judith, and galillee, so John can go get his clams and lobsters right off the pier, so we'll probably do that again this year.
We've also started a garden for the first time this year, and have been spending alot of time doing that.
I'd LIKE to take a day trip either to Boston or Salem this year, as i miss them both, but...those are both places you should go when you have a little cash to burn..which we don't at the moment.

Busy summer as usual. :) Beaching it with the kids, that started Monday and is always fun. We have plans to go to PA to my mom's lakehouse for the 4th weekend. Ozz Fest with Starlite! Camping three days at Knoebel's in PA. Hopefully at least one more trip with some other friends. The kids and I are in a wedding at the end of July. A few BBQ's already planned. Maybe hanging out on hubby's friend's boat on the Hudson. Plus hopefully hubby's band will get booked for some shows. And then back to school in Sept for the kids and I rest for a few days!

Working, trying to get my own place, and possibly travelling. I'd like to make it down the shore at least once, too. It's been a while.

Moving to Phoenix. I think thats *all* I'm doing this summer. :) While I'm there I plan on working 60 hours a week to make some money so in a few months we can move to Santa Monica. So I supposed my summer is gonna kinda suck. LOL
