View Full Version : Guinea Pigs needed for reading.

I've been playing around with using playing cards for reading. It's really facinating. I think I'm ready to try it out on someone other than myself and unsuspecting family. :D

If anyone wants a reading, let me know.

Just a thought, would this still be considered tarot?

Ok, Flaire, my guinea pig #1! I just did a general 3 card spread, asking about love, money, and future...the usual stuff.

The first card is 9 of hearts. Fulfillment of your heart's desire. If there's a special relationship, it's looking pretty good.

The second card is 2 of diamonds. Duality, choices. Looks like you might be facing a choice in your financial situation. Perhaps a new job in the works. :)

The future card is 7 of clubs. Good future card. It talks about determination, assertiveness. Using your creative energy to achieve what you want. Very much a "go for it" card.

I'm going to have to owe you a reading. I'm not sure if I like reading with playing cards. I'm finding it harder to make sense of the cards. :) I miss my pictures. I can give you a regular reading if you like.

I think the first one is either talking about a friend of mine & myself...or the kitten & myself. 8O (hoping it's the former)

As for the others. I'm clueless, but that might be in my future, right? ;)

Yeah, maybe I'm just not clicking with these cards or I'm doing it wrong. When I was practicing on myself, they were hard to read with too. I thought it might be that I always found it hard to read for myself. I'm going to do another cleansing on them & see if that makes a difference.

I know what you mean..When I tried it before I kept looking back to the book to make sure I was doing it right. 8O I need the pictures on the cards to be able to interpret them properly, I think.

If you still need guinea pigs I’m more then willing. I’m actually going to be working on divination tomorrow. I’m assisting a “Wizard’s School” (Harry Potter stuff mainly) class at work. I got to play with a cat and rat today (it was “Care of Magical (and Non-Magical) Creatures” today).

If Wildchild has really given them up, then I will try as soon as I get some regular playing cards and play around a little bit :)

Mithrea, please feel free to jump in here too (and anyone else that wants to give playing cards a try :) ). I don't mind at all. I'm going to try & do a cleansing on my playing cards and see what happens. It would be good to have a comparison too.

Alright then :D I'm getting ready to go to the store. I'll pick up a new deck :) This will be fun :) I have a friend that reads them but she is in Norway for three weeks so I won't be able to get her input until then :)
