Prayers to the Peacock Angel

By the symbol of the Creatrix,
I humbly pray to Her most puissant archangel,
The King, Melek Ta'us,
Whom She hath designated as Her regent
And the Caretaker of Creation.

Hail to the King of all angels
Who is the Bringer of Light
And the Lord of this world,
Whose rebellion was an act of loyalty to Allat,
And who extinguished the fires of Hell with his tears.

Great Melek Ta'us, a thousand praises upon you!
For you lead to the straight path without a revealed book,
You allow everyone to follow the dictates of his own nature,
And you are ever present in times of need.

May every wicked person be redeemed,
May the good in all people prevail,
And may all humanity bask in the light of reason.
In the name of Melek Ta'us, I pray. Amen.

This is a prayer my brother and I recited during Thanksgiving dinner this year:

We give thanks to you, Melek Ta'us, for this bountiful harvest,
And for seeing us through yet another year on this earth.
Thank you for never turning your back on us,
For never abandoning us to a cruel and bitter fate,
And for giving us the strength to overcome our obstacles.
May everyone around the world be blessed on this day,
And every day afterwards.
In the name of Melek Ta'us, we pray! Amen.
