Let me say at the outset that Tourmaline for the most part has never interested me much and I personally find it kinda bla. However a week ago or so a friend of mine set me a piece of Mushroom Tourmaline and I must say I felt attracted to it right away. Mushroom Tourmaline is a botryoidal aggregate of pale pink tourmaline crystals and is found in the Palelni mine, Khetchel village, Molo quarter, Momeik Township, northeast of Mogok, Shan State, Burma and I must say right now it is probably the hardest stone to photograph for me this far... the picture below doesn't do it or its colour justice. It's a darker purer red.. this pic was taken outside in natural light making it much lighter.
Now.. this is just a personal opinion but for me this mathces up to any stone when dealing with emotions and the heart. It is by far the best heart chakra stone I have found to date and seems to work well for blood disorders... that's all I know for now so here is a pic :)
