Of course, use this to cook outside!

You can heat water to put in a hot water bottle for the kids (or yourself) on it! It only requires pencil size wood to work.

These stoves are great. I keep a small version in my BOB, from a small coffee can (from the days when those were tin, not plastic).

Here's another good site with a bit different design to their Hobo Stove. This one is made from a paint can (so a little bit heavier duty).

i remember one time me and a bunch of friends went camping and tried to make one out of those giant oil cans like you see in the movies.

needless to say, we didnt realize that you needed a hole in the side so that the fire could breathe and by the time we realized this it was too late. the whole can split down the sides from the fire.:lol:
