Hi
I'm kinda new to all this although I have study wise craft for a while and have followed a solitary path it has only been the last four years that I have really been able to come out of the cupborad and really see whats out there.
But sinces the last two months I feel that a I have been given new sight to my path and I am finding how to fit my wiccan/pagan life together and really live it but the question that has moved in now is how do I find the goddess and god in me?
I see them all around me in nature the elements and the seasons but how do I find them in me to help me make that final big step in becoming one and really knowing them?
Any one help?

 Merry Meet and Welcome!

There are lots of threads on this. Seems we have all connected with our deities in different ways, some people found them right away and with others, like myself, it was a matter of letting the goddess come to me. Learn all you can and it will come to you when the time is right.

Well, you say you see Them all around you in nature, right? Aren't you a part of nature too, therefore they're within you. For me, feeling that truth helps me feel closer to the Goddess and God.

Hi! :) As Freyja mentioned, we all connect with dieties in different ways. Personally, I think meditation is a fabulous way to spirtually get into touch with a diety. Perhaps the god or goddess will come to you when your mind is at ease through peaceful meditation.
Also, the gods and goddesses have different characteristics. If you want to know more about their characteristics, there are loads of threads here to help you. Perhaps you know of a certain characteristic that you are looking for in a diety. For example, would you want your diety to be a nurturing, caring motherly figure or do you want a diety who is clever and passionate? Thinking about these characteristics will perhaps help you find the goddess or god in you.

something i've realised along my travels (which haven't even been as long as urs, so forgive me if i talk rubbish!) is that my concepts of the Gods and Goddesses often reflect part of myself, a certain archetype: the Lover, the Scholar, the Mother, the Witch etc...so look inside. perhaps They're already there :)

I totally agree with Maia. The god or goddess is already in each of us. However, we need to find a special way in order to get into touch with the diety. I too have noticed that there are different aspects of the dieties in me- Lover, Scholar....etc. At different times in my life, a different focus is emphasized. For example, perhaps I am spending more time to learn; thus, I am the scholar now. In the future, I might be the Lover or Mother. Who knows what the future has in store?

Think- what is important to you right now? Do you think that the god or goddess is leading in you that direction?
