View Full Version : What In Your Chart Comes Across Most Often?

Everyone seems to express something in their chart more strongly. I have a friend whose Moon sign seems to come across more prominently than anything else in her chart, while with me it tends to be my ascendant sign, and a guy I briefly dated had his grand air trine completely overshadowed by a few key things in Capricorn.
So, I'm curious. Is there anything in your chart that you find to be a major culprit(s) in how people often perceive you?

When I was young it was my Leo Sun, now that I am older I think the Libra Ascendent is more prominent.

So you seemed self-centered as a child and love-dovey as you got older? ;)

One Cancer stellium to Rule Them All...
:p Seriously. I may have a sparkling Gemini sun, and I may have a workaholic Capricorn Mars on the descendant no less, but NOTHING seems to be able to top the lethally watery combinaion of my Cancer Mercury, ascendant, Moon and Venus, Mercury in the 12th conjunct ascendant and Moon conjunct Venus in the first. People flat-out forget I'm actually a Gemini sun most of the time, because I'm so...Cancer-ish.

See, I remember you used to talk about this actually and I never really got 'Gemini' from you, but rather Cancer. Not so much even Cancer either as a very watery vibe. Ha, you is a bubble head! :T
Edit: This makes me wonder what sticks out most in my chart for people on here. Hmm.

Well that is a little harsh, as Leo is also about glitz, glitter, and being noticed. Self-centered wasn't quite me. I also like to be around people, and as most Leos would I would end up the leader of the pack. The Leo phase sort of worked through until the Saturn Return.
As I grew older, my husband was a business man and we entertained a lot. I was the gracious host, but most definitely the woman behind the man, not stepping out and becoming the leader. Well unless you considered the women's retirement to the livingroom while the men talked business being a leader. I am rather lovey dovey with everyone. I love people; all people. Just suffice it to say that I exhibit more of the Libra tendencies than the Leo, but that doesn't mean that Leo doesn't come out sometimes, cuz it does.

Hi Aidron,
If you mean, how do I come across to people? From afar I probably do come across as Queen Capricorn (my MH and NN/Venus/Ceres conjunct in the 8th); compulsive school teacher. To neighbors and folks on the street looking me, I look like a Taurus for sure (my Rising - my body, my cottage, my gardens, my singing etc). My friends know I am a Aquarius and as different as can be, deeply strange (JupiterRX conjunct Uranus RX in Cancer on my Nadir).
I think our scopes tell us these things very accurately.
However, if you asking what astrologers first see when they look at my scope - they see the juggler with little Mutability. I have a double-ish Grand Fix Cross and I am only a degree or two off of a Grand Cardinal Cross as well. It is not an easy scope, a bit scary maybe.

I think I would have to ask people. I imagine the Capricorn sun, moon, and mercury is obvious, at least I know I seem driven to success, focused, and sometimes too blunt. I'm wondering though if the Sagittarius comes out without me realizing it, and that's why people don't realize I'm so shy and anxious.

Eh, it was just a joke. I've actually never known anyone with their Sun in Leo that wasn't completely placid and "Whatever you wanna do." I never looked at their full charts, but I thought it was amusing nonetheless. :foh:

So you love people... and sometimes you love them so much that you leave bite marks? ;)
I've never been around anyone with a strong Libran influence either, so that'd be a first for me.

That was exactly what I meant. What about your chart seems to come across most strongly to people. I've known a lot with strong Capricorn influences, and they try their best to keep me grounded... usually to no avail. :hahugh:
I had a friend who only had Jupiter in Aquarius, yet almost everything else fell into the background because of it. She was extremely concerned with the welfare of mankind to the point that'd she endure masochism because of it. Gods forbid you didn't feel exactly the same way either or she'd tear you apart with all the reasons as to why she was right and you were wrong.

I never really would have associated shyness with Sagittarius, so I probably wouldn't see that in you. Since I can usually pick out Capricorn very easily in people that'd likely be what I notice first.

Yeah...I know Kaylara has always grouped me with the Cancers and a few others have as well. That's all right. I scuttle along with the best of them. :p
I haven't seen your chart in ages, but I remember it being basically nothing but Libra, Scorpio, and Sag, right? I always got the snappy, barbed Scorpionic vibe from you.

Scuttle! Now I will forever link you to Dr. Zoidberg. Aw. _pounce_
And yes, all my planets are in Libra, Scorpio, and Saggyness. For me though, I seem to convey my Pisces ascendant the most. Not a day goes by that I am not told "You're so interesting". I get "I have you totally figured out!" (so far none have) and "You're such a moody bit-" a lot too. :eyebrow:
And snappy? Whose the crab here, Scuttles? I suppose I'm lucky that I only have two planets in Scorpio and five in Libra, since the former is so intense and the latter so passive this probably helps to make me less volcanic. :T

I had forgotten that you had Pisces rising. Libra sun, Scorpio moon, right? Pisces rising can definitely soften any sign's edge, I think, and can also make even the cheeriest Leo sun seem like the ultimate emo kid at times.

Scuttles? :rollingla Brilliant. I am now Scuttles. You are indeed lucky, though I'm curious to know whether you can make decisions worth a damn with that much Libra. Waffle much? (Mmmm, waffles!)

That's what I mean. I may seem Sagittarius, not shy. It blows my mind when people think I'm confident, or are intimidated by me, when I'm usually just hoping no one notices I'm there, much less imagining I'm better then anyone. At worst they're thinking I feel I'm too good to talk to them, I'm thinking holy crap if I talk I'm going to say something stupid.

True. I think what softens me for the most part is a touch of that Pisces rising with 5 planets in Libra (particularly Sun, Mercury, and Libra). It tends to often take the edge of my Scorpio Moon - and thank the various gods too. :eyebrow:

Depends on the decision. I often just take forever due to laziness, but at other times I'm the first to go for something; that is rare though as I'm often the overly-cautious-consider-all-variables one. :2G:
Now I can't decide if I should go get waffles this morning or not! Gah! :foh:

Ha! I can relate. People rarely speak to me unless they themselves are bursting with confidence. I seem to be notoriously intimidating, and meanwhile you and me are just thinking:
"Why are they staring? Do I have a boogey hanging out of my nose? Oh crap. I'd go to the bathroom to check, but I'd probably fall on my face in front of them. But I can't just stand here with a boogey hanging out! Wait, I'm overreacting, aren't I? Phew, I'm still sane enough to know I'm being insane. Or am I? They're still staring! AAAAAAH!"

Maybe that's what's going on with me as well.
I really don't know how I come across, but I guess it would be my Libra sun as people have told me I am particularly well-mannered. *shrugs*
added: I don't know what's wrong with you guys. Pancakes are sooo much better than waffles.

I'd have pancakes AND waffles if they were covered in Maple Syrup.
Sun, Mercury and Venus are Aries.
Ascendant is Leo.
Mars is Taurus.
Moon Scorpio.
I've been told I'm intimidating and hard to talk to. Really I'm shy and don't like nosy people.
If I know you well enough I'm very typical of all the above traits but very few people know me that well.

Yeah, don't even show it to me. I think it is about as moronic as people who walk in traffic (no offense to any Wiccans, I just don't see the logic behind it).
This is from one of the Wiccan threads. Aidron, that is so Scorpio
