I've been looking for a good rough piece of this for some time and finally came across one. I find this stuff totally amazing in design and structure and it's incredable to work with. Polish Flint is found along the northern fringes of the Holy Cross Mountains and it differs slightly in darkness of bands and their characteristics. Some bands flow in smooth curves while others are more jagged and still others show more of a blotched pattern instead of stripes. Axes made from this matterial have been found which date to the middle paleolithic era with several being found buried with their owners.

The energies from this type of flint are gentle and create a warm, loving atmosphere. Cut into orbs they make for great meditation tools as do polished slices. They help with peaceful sleep and help in remembering dreams more vividly. This material makes absolutely stunning jewelry and is ideal for amulets and talismans. It may also be used as a tool to help with psychic surgery.

Flint in general is helpful in managing money. Used as a talisman it brings physical, rational and psychological strength in confrontations. It works well in helping communicate and understand others by creating an openess to listen and learn. It also assists in severing emotional ties and helps rid one of shyness. It helps displel negativity and helps to create an optimistic and creative environ.

For healing Flint is great for liver and kidney disorders as well as digestion. It helps promote a healthy skin and helps in diminishing growths when used as an elixir on the skin.

Chakra: Naval and Sacral (Polish flint includes the Third Eye as well)

How pretty *saves picture for a collage of different interesting rocks for the desktop*

Flint is fairly common here in Texas but it's the pretty general kind. This, though, is quite interesting.

the right side looks like a lizard or snake head. and the left side looks like optical illusion art which probably gives it the 3-D look.
