I'm working on a type of logographic magickal/Pagan alphabet to use in my BOS for things that I dont want just anyone to be able to read. Each letter of the alphabet has a symbol for it. An example would be A= Athame (and a simple pictogram of an athame). B=Bolline C=Crecent etc. But I'm stuck on a few of the letters and I was wondering if anyone had ideas. I cant think of something Pagan related that I could make into a pictogram for the letters O, J, and X. I want to stay away from animals and plants, but anything else is welcome (providing its sketchable...for instance for "O" I couldnt very well use "Old Ways").

Try searching for Pagan dictionaries online and under the letters you need.

I did look through a good number of Pagan Dictionaries, but I couldnt really find anything that would be easily recognized with a simple sketch for those letters. I'm still looking though.

I'm sure these need to be personally meaningful to you. For me the O is the magic circle and also reminds me of the One as in "the One and All" or "we are are One", so you could use the numeral 1 for O. The X looks a lot like the position I associate with Drawing Down the Moon. Just add a little circle between the upper part for a head. Do you keep bottles and jars of various herbs, etc? A drawing of a jar should be fairly easy for J. Or maybe a drawing of a jewel. That's about all I can think of.

You could also stay close to the shape, such as a diamond shape for o, a solar cross for x, and maybe like a flower for j?
