There is an excellent article on the Druids by Francine Nicholson at http://www.irishinsight.net. Well worth checking out, especially for you newcomers to Celtic culture and religion. Ms. Nicholson is an extremely knowledgeable and opinionated Celtic studies scholar whose writings can also occasionally be found on the Old Irish-L mailing list.
