Its time again folks...even though I hate to change the look of the place because I have really enjoyed this beautiful blue theme....it is time to change.

So, without any further talk....lets get on with it. Everyone should know the drill, but for our new members:

Pick a color, the current theme would be the color blue. Note that these are any shades of blue, etc. So, just pick the color you would like to see MW use and vote for it.

Thats it.

The vote ends on the 19th of this month, so start your campaigns. Blue is forfeit for this run since it is the current color.

Mol, I think you should come up with a black/grey/white scheme. I've seen some sites that use grey on grey, and they look really nice, throw in some black trim, and bold white, and you make a nice looking page.

You are very welcome dear. I'm so happy when something like this happens. Yes, now that you mention it, it does look like an angel. (I've never seen one but I've spoken to some who have and these light beings would sort of look like the cosmos in their natural energy state.)

P.S. If it was a purple angel tell them that it was a rather "high ranking" angel then... (I'm told they have colour ranks and purple is just below gold (top notch)).

Purple is so pleasing to the eye...So senuous to the touch...So masterful is its presence.

Black is good but it's not the easiest to load and/or to print off the web from.

Green is all right but sometimes like red and yellow it can be a little too sharp for the eyes.

Yep, it's purple, if you must change the colour. The Blue is all right and would be my number two choice. But Purple is number one.

Well..........First off........I voted yellow. I have been out in the blessed summer sun all day and I am in total "summer" mode.

Which.........brings me to a thought.........


We have done green..............purple..............blue. All of which(with maybe the exception of blues) were fairly bright and tough on the eyes for some of us.

So.........my suggestion maybe for next time(or this if you feel it is vaild enough to consider...) Is trying some neutrals or pastels.

Possibly a combination of sand and coral colors(see that sun kicking in again Ü) or possibly the earth tones. Yet............subtler hues of them. Not bright orange..........maybe...... gentle twilight shade and the same of yellows and browns.
Imagine watching the sunset. Those kind of hues. The gentle welcoming relaxing calling peace into your soul kinda colors.

I always try to use shades that are easiest on the eyes. Dont worry...i take that into account.

PLUS...this is just for fun folks. I dont want to get into the different colors per forum thing. This is just something we have always done and will always continue to do...

Well, I don't know that it will make a difference but I voted purple. I find purple to be a very calming colour for me. Particularly the tapestry tones.. plums, mauves, and burgundies - though burgundy tends to run into the red/brown tones more so. Black is a nice idea but creates a high contrast... depending on what colours will be used for text, I may not be able to read the boards very often if done in black. High contrast sites give me migraines when I view them for extended periods of time, especially when they are text intensive.
