I have a question you guys. Don't think this a dumb question but...
Is there a Greek tradition? I focus on the Greek Pantheon, and I'm not sure if there's an ancient Greek way of following the Pagan path.....
Any book or website suggestions? I'd be real greatful. :D Thanks a lot.

I have the same question. I am more interested in the Greek Pantheon than any of the others and I've been searching the net for days trying to find a tradition or path that followed the Greek pantheon and I haven't been able to find it. I wanted to find out more about how and why each of the Gods and Goddesses were worshipped. I didn't want to just go out and do a ritual or spell and incorporate a deity that would take offense at being involved in that. I've been studying the pantheon but I still don't know if the Greeks how special rituals for each or when their major holidays were. I am still researching. Hopefully, I will find some good information soon.

In terms of holidays and whatnot, Dionysus has a holiday in March or April (depending on the movement of the seasons). It lasts 4 days and is called Dionysia. We know that Dionysus was the Goddess of wine, agriculture, and fertility of nature, and is also the patron Goddess of the Greek stage. Dionysia was a festival of arts mostly. As far as holidays, that's what I know...
I know what you mean about not wanting to be abrupt with the Gods and Goddesses.
I am trying to find out how they interact with eachother. A good place to find out stuff is through the Illiad and Oddessey. It has a lot of information on the Gods and Goddesses. Another good place is children's mythology books.
As far as magickal things and traditions....there just doesn't seem to be much out there. But, maybe we aren't looking in the right places.

Y'all might try a web search on Stregharia, it's an Italian tradition that I think includes classical traditions also. Raven Grimassi has a website on this, but I don't have an URL at the moment.
