Sometimes a little sympathy can do wonders for a person's health - mental, if not physical at least. I don't know how popular this thread will be (or not) but I thought, this being the sniffle-season and all, it might be nice to have a place where all us sickies can pass the tissues and grumble.

So I is sick. :-( And I don't wanna go to work tomorrow morning.

Thank you for the sympathy. *long-distance hugs to everybody* Unfortunately for me, it's never "just the sniffles" - it's always, "Hey, I feel a little off.... oh hey, look - I just projectile vomited. This is fun. Let's see how much worse this can possibly get in the next 24 hrs...." :-(

But we'll see come tomorrow.

Ah. Fun times to be had, then.

:hugz: That's a bit like me, I guess... Although probably only because I ignore it completely if it's not really bad. :p

Hey cool, I was right: a little sympathy does make you feel much better! Now me and my box of tissues are going to go to bed.... right after I take some Tylenol....

Guten nach, wonderful individuals.

I am not sick, so far, but all three grandkids are. I am not sure what exactly what all their symptoms are, but I have been changing really nasty diapers all week, all day and night since I have babies here all day, and I do mean ALL day. My daughter tried to take her baby girl in because it is still going on, but thanks to the yet another snowstorm last night, they were closed due to no power. That one has a sore throat, every time she tries to eat she cries, points at her neck and says "owie, owie" I wish I could get the older two to give me some signals to tell me what is wrong.:fpraise: I can usually take care of sick kids and never get sick as long as I take care of myself, so I made sure to take quick naps the past few days while the kids napped. I hope they are better next week. Sick unhappy babies has taken it's toll on me. TGIF, the babies just went home a half hour ago. I can now unwind and get ready for a much deserved sleeping in tomorrow! That is my illness rant tonight.

Put more Garlic and Ginger into your Food and Drink more Peppermint Herbal Tea with Honey, although I recently found out that Camomile Tea with Honey has good Herbal Properties for improving the Immune System.

Here to whine.

I have bilateral rotator cuff tears and I'm in a lot of pain. I can't fall asleep and I am just miserable, miserable. There is no comfort. :(

Thank you, KNR - I have been doing exactly that. :-)

Merrilyn - Bilateral!? WTF were you doing to get that?

Not much of anything. I have an illness that attacks my tissues & joints. It's just from working & stuff. I will be having surgery soon to fix me up. :hehehehe: Then...relief!
