Why does this even matter?

Look most common representations:

Red - Love, lust
Pink - innocent love
White - purity (was death)
Black - mystery, fear, death
Brown - Earth
Green - nature
Purple - Royalty, homosexuality
Blue - Water
Yellow - sun

Hope I didn't miss any. Righty now, my vote's on black, but that's just the way I feel now.

Err. . . this was for forum colours. . . quite some time ago. We have a completely different way of doing it now. ^^;; we vote on headers, around which the colours are designed. But thank you for the tidbit of info!
