I have a branch made of poplar that I want to make into a wand. I know how I want to decorate it but I am confused as to when I should do so. Is it best to create a wand during the Waxing Moon, Full Moon, Waning Moon, or New Moon? I ask the same question about making an altar tile which will be a pentacle?
I ask this because I plan on making a self-dedication on February 2nd, 2008.
Which form of the LBRP do Witches use or similar form of protection daily? I began using the LBRP over a month ago. Someone advised me not to stop using it because things will begin turning negative. Is this true? Isn't a Witches Magick Circle the equivalent of the LBRP? I believe it IS. Just wanting the opinions of more the more experienced in this matter.

It depends on what you want to dedicate it for. Waxing moon is good for giving things intent in general. Full moons are good for putting things at the height of their power. Waning moons are good for pulling intent away from an object - cleansing or hiding rituals are better done at this time. New moons are good for things you want to stay hidden - in the dark, get it?
For your typical wand to be used to cast circles, I'd consecrate it during a Waxing or full moon, and give it positive intent.

Congratulations!

This can be said to be a matter of opinion. The reason someone might warn you against doing the LBRP everyday is because it isn't just something you use to block negativity. Think of the LBRP, or any "banishing" specifically as a magickal vacuum. It takes good and bad intent and sucks it right out of your space, regardless of why it was there and who put it there (unless of course, you tweak your ritual to avoid removing things you yourself have set up.)
I'm not sure what you mean by a Witch's Magick Circle, but if you just mean a circle of protection, that would not be the same thing as the LBRP. One is a circle of protection, which takes its orders from you as you create it. The latter is a banishing ritual, designed to act like a spiritual Hoover. One blocks whatever you tell it to block, the other removes all residual spiritual energy.
As to what kind of LBRP to use, there is the standard version which originated with Aleister Crowley and the Order of the Golden Dawn.

I, personally use the LBRP as it was translated into Gaelic in Israel Regardie's "The Middle Pillar" but that's because when I began my path, I was primarily Celtic-based.
