Energy for my cousin to wise and quick!

My cousin recently gave birth to her second son this November, and I was just told that her new husband beat her very badly, and my cousin's no pushover, but she went back to him anyways. Sorry if this sounds harsh but I cannot understand why she would do this after watching her mother go through this most of her adult life. Anyways, could I ask for some energy to spare for my cousin to wise up quick, and not have to repeat a vicious abuse pattern? Thank you,
