I have a piece but never worked with it. Actually I took it out. sometimes they are sold on a matrix.

they are usually small spheres with a rough surface. blue-green to blue in color.

Its name is derived from CAlcium VANadium SIlicate

They are fragile, MOH's 3 to 4.

It is found in Poona, India as well as in Oregon, USA.

It's chemical formula is Ca(VO)Si4O10.4(H2O).

Mine looks like a blue-green puffball. It's kinda cute!

I remember a few years ago when they were trying to sell them for about $200 USD.
now you can go to eBay and get them for $2 USD. Actually the most expensive one recently went for $25.

yeah it does. BTW , I wouldn`t recommend put them in your pocket. they are delicate little things.
